Our Story

Welcome to Weaver Orthodontics! We are a warm, welcoming orthodontic office located in Swampscott. Dr. Buck Weaver started the office 40 years ago, and his daughter, Dr. Carlin Weaver, joined him in practice in 2015. The office is know for being a friendly and upbeat place - it is our goal to have every patient leave happier than they were when they walked in! Dr. Carlin Weaver is a board-certified orthodontist who voluntarily takes hundreds of hours of continuing education a year because she is so dedicated to her craft. Dr. Weaver is an expert at using braces and aligners - your smile could not be in better hands! She is a Platinum Invisalign provider, meaning she treats hundreds of patients a year using aligners. Our Mission: The purpose of our office is to enhance the quality of life of those people who come to us for their orthodontic care. We are committed to excellence in our orthodontic results. Equally as important, we are committed to the creation of an environment that is open, friendly, and welcoming. We want to help give you a beautiful smile, and be the reason you smile! When you leave our office, we want you to love your smile and feel even better about yourself. We dedicate our time, talents and energy to these objectives. About Dr. Carlin Weaver Dr. Carlin Weaver was born and raised in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Going into college, she knew she wanted to work with people and help people. She studied psychology, sociology and business at Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduation, she completed a post-baccalaureate program at Tufts University, and subsequently enrolled at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weaver graduated from dental school in the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. After dental school, Dr. Weaver completed a two-year orthodontic residency at Tufts, where she was president of her residency class. She is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Carlin Weaver is one of the select few board-certified orthodontists in the country (only 1 out of 3 orthodontists are board certified). She attends hundreds of hours of continuing education events a year, because orthodontics is truly her passion. When she’s not at the office or treatment planning from home, she enjoys yoga, baking and reading motivational books! She loves nothing better than making someone smile!

About Dr. Buck Weaver:

Dr. Buck Weaver attended Emory Dental School and practiced as a dentist in the U.S. Navy before studying orthodontics at Boston University. He lives in Swampscott with his wife, Casey, has three grown kids -- one who is his boss :) -- and enjoys scuba diving and playing with his grandson.
