Provide hands-on education in vaginal breech, multiples, and VBAC support.

Reduce trauma for midwives and the families they support.

Build a strong, inclusive community where birth workers feel supported, inspired, and ready to lead the change.

Home birth midwifery conference coming soon!
The link is almost ready and the speakers have committed. We will be discussing how to balance our bodies as birth workers so we can release any stored trauma before entering into births. We will have hands on experts ready to help you do the work to release your fascia and start your healing journey.

We will also be learning techniques to help our mamas release their fascia and stored trauma so the can have more easeful pregnancies, births and postpartum times.

We will also be discussing vaginal twin and vaginal breech births with hands on simulator trainings.

This conference will be worth every moment of your time. This work is so powerful for midwives and the families they serve, including the babies!

What a beautiful birth! Thanks for letting me support you. You are a very strong mama!

Now, 2 months off call! I love being a midwife and serving families, but it’s time for some good rest. Thanks to my daughter for making me take time off to relax, restore and just be. Time for family and friend time while off call.

Of course I still have appointments to do, but I will be able to shut my phone off at night, stay up late, go far away from home and maybe cause some trouble somewhere if I feel like it. 😂

To all the families in 2024 that have allowed me to support them and watch them bring souls into this world under their full autonomy, thank you. What a blessing it has been to witness your power.

We love you, but we also need time off to rest and reset so we are the best we can be when you need us. Cool, calm, collected and full of life! It’s hard being on call all the time, so we need to take these breaks.

We know you understand and will plan accordingly if you want us to support you during your pregnancy, birth, postpartum.

We love you like family, but we also need to take care of our family. So…..we rest from time to time.

Happy 19th birthday son. .ll_.p You are finally the same age as the number of hours I was in labor with you!

May the Lord guide your steps and May you shine love, grace, mercy and peace to all you come in contact with. May you never loose your s***k and the energy God gave you.

Listen to what God tells you inside your heart. Follow that. When God is in your heart no one can stand in your way. Who shall you fear? No one. Who should you run from? No one.

People say you should fear the Lord. What does that mean? Fear in Hebrew, the original text, is to lean draw back in shock and lean forward in wonder. It’s not the feeling of being scared, but of being drawn in.

Everyone falls. Everyone feels like they fail. Everyone has challenges. Rise above my friend.

You will know those who should be in your space and who should not be in your space. Sometimes you have to remember to tell people to shut the f up. And that’s ok. Then walk away and prove them wrong. Boundaries are ok. Not everyone deserves a seat at your table or wants one for that matter. Your thoughts and opinions matter.

You are loved, you are strong, you are smart, you are creative, you are brave, you are funny and talented. I could go on.

Fight for what you want. Work hard. You will get there.

Rant done.

Rock this year 19 son.

Be the badass you were meant to be. Make them crawl out of their skin and be uncomfortable, in the end the only thing that matters in that you followed the dreams and path the Lord set out for you. Change the world. It needs it.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I have to share this. Ira Lou needs prayers and support at this time. She was born at home into the loving arms of her parents. Shortly after birth she started to display breathing difficulties and needed to be transported to the hospital.
