One strategy DFS has to support both our foster families & AFL Providers is offering monthly virtual support groups. This is a safe place where our caregivers can come together and offer encouragement, support and tips for each other. 💙🧡💛💚.

In this role, you will help recruit, train, and support foster families while guiding them through the licensing process. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring children in our community have safe, loving homes.🏡

✨ What You’ll Do:
• Recruit and engage potential foster parents
• Guide families through the licensing process
• Provide training and ongoing support to foster families
• Build strong relationships within the community
• Advocate for children and families in care.

✨ What We’re Looking For:👇
• Passion for working with children and families
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in social services, child welfare, or related fields preferred
• Organized, motivated, and compassionate professionals
• Staff must have a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience.

Re: DFS No Smoking Policy

Davidson Family Services will implement a new policy regarding Smoking. Effective 1/1/2020 smoking will not be permitted on the grounds at the main office facilities. This decision is in the best interest of the members, staff and our programs as a whole.
