Welcome to the posture series! We will tell you what the best posture is, how posture contributes to pain & dysfunction, & ways we can combat it.
🧘 Let’s set the record straight; there’s not 1 perfect posture. Sedentary activity is what we should pay attention to. Staying in one position for an extended period of time is the problem.
🖥️ Ways to get moving during your workday could include getting a standing/sitting desk, or if safe for you, a walking pad or desk bike. Or setting your workspace in the most ergonomic position.
🛋️ For after work hours, this could include using different furniture in ur house, sitting at the kitchen table to eat then laying in ur bed, & sitting on different couches & chairs. As well as taking evening or morning walks around the neighborhood.
🔑 The key takeaway is taking breaks during ur work day or after each episode you watch to get up & stretch or do some exercise.
