The vagus nerve runs from your brainstem to your abdomen and plays a huge role in how you process emotions. 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽, 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝗴𝗮 “𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀” 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.⁣

As you inhale, your heart rate rises slightly; as you exhale, it slows down. This natural rhythm—called Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA)—is amplified by slow, controlled breaths, signaling your body to stay calm, even under stress.⁣

𝗠𝗬𝗢𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘⁣

Fascia is the connective tissue that weaves through and around your spine, storing emotional memories.⁣

You don't have to be a spiritual guru to get the most out of yoga. You can just be yourself! Go Yoga! Express is opening Baptiste Power Vinyasa and Hot Power Yoga to the whole community. Bring your own unique experiences and abilities, and leave strengthened, with renewed mental calmness and joy. Our instructors are each extensively trained in athletic yoga, and we offer a range of classes and memberships that meet everyone's interests and skill level. Why? Because we love supporting new students as they journey toward empowerment and wellness through yoga. We come as we are, we get fierce, and we welcome everyone who shows up. To us, that's what yoga is all about.
