It IS 🐾EARLY “Whatever You Can Wednesday”!

This week we had one of our previously adopted kitties brought back to the rescue. She will need help and im hoping we can provide the basics needed here in our goals so we can move onto ordering the things she will need for care and recouping. My mom plans to adopt her once shes feeling back to herself and all checked out ! 🎉 (A post will be made for her after the holidays while she settles in and gets the swing of routine again) ❤️‍🩹🐾 you are always safe here with us Ninja Moon 🌙 🐈‍⬛ 🥷

Usually, we don’t do this, but with all of the clinics closed and the emergency clinic not willing to see Milo, do any of our Tnr followers or rescue friends have a bottle of azithromycin we can start Milo on??

He has been having sneezy Weezy symptoms for a few weeks usually with supplements he’s able to get through it on his own, but I’m worried it may have developed into an infection because he seems to be getting worse and having a harder time breathing. I know usually the vets will prescribe a convenia or azithromycin for a URI or pneumonia.

I basically own a pharmacy because of all the other cats but no azithro , poor Milo chose a bad time to get sick I guess 😢 🏥

Today Salem went from straw houses and snow to blankies snuggles and 4 furry brothers and sisters with lots of space to acclimate with mom alone and then gradually get to know his fur mates. He has a mom and a dad and two brothers ! He was ALL PURRS when mom pulled him out for hugs 🫂 Thanks to you all he recieved Rabies, Distemper, combo (neg 🎉 ), flea treatment AND a microchip 🎉

We have never explored foster to adopts as an option before because we didn’t think of it as one, But I do think it’s a great and safe way to help the cats when there is no space here at the rescue. So if you are open to foster to adopting a friendly kitty in our large Lennon Kitty colony of about 150-300 kitties please reaxh out to the rescues inbox here on facebook. Just because we ran out of room does NOT mean we stop helping and pulling cats in.

Salem was not only blessed with a new life before Christmas but he blessed and taught us of another way to help kitty’s stuck out in the elements 🥶 ❄️

So with a foster adopt found for Salem we NEED TO get him into the clinic today to receive the rest of his vetting, he will need to be in a foster/adopt home 🏡 today we need $85 at least to be able to cover it plus the exam fee, which is $15. Is anyone willing to help Salem so he can be indoors? It’s going to be freezing.

She is continuing to urinate outside of her box and has progressing anxiety, even with the medication that has been prescribed for the anxiety the cost for her visit and treatment through the walk-in clinic versus her regular clinic is $90 versus $311. 🎉 🥅 $90/$90 🥅 🎉

Berlioz has also not been able to raise any funds for his vetting goal we wanted to bring attention to that because he has been doing well Otherwise. Now it’s time we get both him and marie ready and start seeking out a person who may be fit to help them live a life as normal as possible and as comfortable as possible. 🥅 $0/$100 🥅

We are also experiencing a food crisis. We’ve been very low on food for a few months now getting by week by week, some weeks day by day, this is one of those weeks where we are getting by day by day with the donations we raised last week we were able to order probiotic supplements, purchase kitten, food, and adult food enough to get by, but we are getting low on that food now too if anyone could send a box of wet food from our wish list of any kind we would greatly appreciate it. All of the cats are almost out of food the kittens, the medical cats, the adult cats, the outdoor cats we have given everything we could to the colony and it was about 1/5 of the amount we normally give when we are able this is drop off #4 like this so for months the cats have recieved less and less. If you could donate in person, we take those two. We are not picky about food. We tried to list the food. We will get the best deals on on the most nutrients out of on our wish list other than that we are open to taking donations of any kind just reach out directly to the rescues inbox, please. 🙏

🚨 RESCUE PLACEMENT NEEDED 🚨
STILL IN NEED 12/18
Everyone meet Salem, he is a friendly neutered outdoor community cat part of our LARGE colony of about 150-300 kitties IN Lennon Mi . We have been doing our very best to pull in as many friendlies as we can while continuing TNR but times get tough and we get STUFFED with kitties.

He deserves to live indoors with someone who can give him a happily ever after INSIDE. Tonight he’s been set up for success to survive the nights extreme temps. We refreshed ALL shelters and laid down fresh straw in the cat shed . We filled their heated water bowl up and we dropped off food 🥣

We need to find him a rescue that can bridge his gap between outside and furever inside ❤️‍🩹❤️🐾🙏❄️🌨️

HIS LOVE AND PURRS DESPITE HIS HARD KNOCK LIFE ARE TO DIE FOR!!! Rose his caregiver even had to climb up on the cat shed roof for extra kisses because he’s just too sweet 😘

We know they will require a lot of care from their potential adopter, but we believe they deserve a chance which means they will need to be “adoption ready”.
