We’re only $71 away from Berlioz last goal 🥅 here at the rescue . Thankyou to everyone who has donated already! Getting his ashes would’ve been cheaper and more comforting to me . But we still have Marie to think about and Berlioz would want that too if it means her having a chance at any leads.

Berlioz is frolicking over the rainbow bridge 🌈 , p**p and pain free. He is with the creator of all now , the best parent and care he could get. In heaven where there are no bounds to his happiness or needs like there are here on earth. It was a privilege to be his only human/earth mom. There are so many things I wish I could’ve done better .

Thankyou to everyone who loved him, seen his needs, and helped when no one else did. Because of us he didn’t suffer like this outside all alone in Lennon. His momma cat got to live the rest of her days baby free and marie will continue to be loved and cherished everyday . .

Mommy loves you. We all love you. I can’t wait to feel your slaps 🐾 when I meet you up there. 👆 🪽 I will keep fighting even if I need to rest . I will never give up. Sweetest baby ever 😞🤧❤️‍🩹

We have until tomorrow morning to raise $71 for necropsy drop off. I will pick up shifts to pay for cremation myself.

Spent the whole night with Marie giving lots of love and cuddles . She’s in the house with me now still. I just look at her and hope she won’t suffer the same end. So far I have a couple leads on other vets to visit in the area to take over .

Getting this necropsy could be just another dead end but it’s the only thing that makes sense right now .

We do still have their goal for dental to help Marie with future medical costs and dental procedures. Since gofund me dosnt let me edit the goal once it’s made any funds raised on Berlioz half through the gofund me will go to Marie’s medical care and testing. Please don’t forget to share that too. If we do the rest of testing (allergies genetic) and still have no answers WITH the necropsy I will end this witch hunt for answers and peace and Marie will be allowed to exist until she can’t on her own anymore . This has been such a nonstop back and forth ordeal that I’m afraid my head is even spinning now. I think eliminating this vet from the equation will lower a lot of my stress and confusion. They may be right and have done nothing wrong. But my gut has been telling me since their last flare 6 months ago to stop trusting them, it felt transactional and not like a true passion. Their own vet hasn’t seen them inside the building since LAST YEAR. That should’ve been all I needed to know. Now I do and never again will I settle or blindly trust someone just because paper says they’re qualified.

REG VET is denying stomatitis ….. recommending euthanasia. Getting prices for hospiat care. Euthanasia and necropsy done. I truly dont know what to do anymore . He deserved so much better than this . What will i do for marie ?

We are here and he seems to worsen by the minute. I gave him us a shower to get all the p**p off and now it’s like uncontrollable liquid. He can barely move on his own. I will keep everyone updated . Today might be his unfortunate end 🤧😞🙏🙏🙏

URGENT 🚨
He is tired, his body is tired, a year and a half and the regular vet couldn’t tell me it was stomatitis (ive never seen or worked with it before and was leaning towards a violent calcivirus strain ) what seems like a year and a half of avoidable suffering and pain is now our every day reality.

If he gets through this like I got Marie his baby sister through will ripping their teeth out be the end of this hell? Would I just be torturing them? These are answers I need TODAY. I can’t be the one causing his pain. The vets will have to come up with answers thousands of dollars and a year and a half of loyal vet visits specialists and just brutal pain and suffering later they had better have that answer. Some things can’t be fixed or cured I know that.

But this is inexcusable and with everything I know now about stomatitis NOW lines up perfectly with what they have been suffering for the last year and a half. Bloody vomit, swollen and bleeding gums/lips, anorexia, loss of mobility, other health issues…..

We are scheduled at regular vet/emergency again ONLY BECAUSE THE VETS HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING ON HOW THEIR BODIES RESPOND TO STRESS AND WE HAVE $40 on our account . I would like to provide Berlioz, treatment, a treatment plan and prognosis for this “FLARE” . I would like confirmation from his vet that pulling his teeth will be the thing that possibly saves him FINALLY. The vets only answer until now is “this is their normal” this is NOT NORMAL and we WILL NOT SETTLE FOR THAT ANYMORE.!!!

If you would like to donate towards his treatment and appointment today, initial vet visit will be $70. We are set to arrive at 3:20. I am going with what we have $40) and hoping for the best with nothing BUT optimism in my heart because that’s all berlioz needs right now is hope and answers.

Am I pi**ed off and a mess in tears? yes, will I pull it together for a final answer and help YES like rescuers and animal lovers alike always do. I just can’t do it alone. If anyone has advice or has been through this please message or comment here. Or if you have vet recommendations in the genesee/ shiawasee county areas!

Berlioz is not feeling well still, I will monitor closely tonight. He needed help with feeding today , hoping that stimulated some healthy eating on his own. If not I will administer a full assisted feeding tonight before his usual down tine and call his vet first thing tomorrow morning .

Vet at AAA also made the point that the bloody vomit could be from the teeth/gum issues . We will set up a gofund me/goal or both to raise funds for dental costs as these reoccurring mouth flares and bloody vomit will not improve until the teeth are removed . TODAY he received fluids, steroids , snuggles from the vet and I will be administering pain meds when we get back to the rescue. ❤️‍🩹🙏🐾
