February is National Heart Month! Now is a great time to get your preventative heart care. SCH offers a vast array of testing services.

❤️Calcium Scoring - a fast, painless scan that measures calcium deposits in your coronary arteries to assess your risk for heart disease.
❤️Carotid Ultrasound - uses sound waves to create images of the carotid arteries in your neck, checking for plaque buildup
❤️EKG - Test that records the heart's electrical activity, showing its rate, rhythm, and strength helping diagnose conditions.
❤️Echo Cardiogram - ultrasound of the heart, checking blood flow, valve health, and pumping strength to diagnose issues like heart failure or murmurs.

Gwen Norton celebrated 30 years of service at Sweeny Community Hospital. Gwen is currently a billing specialist but has held many roles in her tenure here. She not only is a wealth of knowledge, but her smile brings so much joy to everyone.
Travis Alford, SCH CFO, stated "It truly is incredible. Not only does the 30 years exemplify the type of person [Gwen] is, but it's honored within [her] work and how [she] shows her work. Truly, a huge congratulations to Gwen."
