As planting season is quickly approaching, we wanted to give our customers a heads-up on a few changes here at Sims Feed and Supply.

During this busy time, we will not be in the feed building daily. Going forward, all orders will need to be placed online (https://simsfeedandsupply.com), and pickup arrangements must be made in advance before coming to Sweet Springs.

When placing your order online, please include your preferred pickup day and time in the notes section. Emma will then reach out to you to confirm and schedule your pickup.

Please note: this means scheduling ahead of time — not calling when you’re on your way or pulling onto our gravel road. We want to make sure your order is ready and that someone is available to assist you. Garrett may be miles away and not able to stop what he is doing.

We are doing our best to keep feed in stock, but there may be times when we need to order your specific feed before it’s available for pickup. Planning ahead will help us serve you better.

We want to share an important update with our Sims Feed & Supply family.

Going forward, we will be closed on Sundays.

In the past, we’ve made similar announcements, but somehow found ourselves returning to being open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. These past two weeks have reminded us of something important — we all need time to rest, recharge, and be present with the people who matter most.

This change isn’t just for us, but for everyone. As most of you know Ryan is stepping back for a little bit to focus on his own recovery. We know that he'll be a little irritated with us but he'll understand. The time we have here should be cherished and we wish that for you too.

There’s no better time to begin than Easter Sunday this April 5th.

We truly appreciate your understanding, your support, and your continued business. We look forward to serving with the same dedication and care that Ryan has poured into this business.

🌱 Spring is here, and planting season is right around the corner! It’s a busy time of year, and we know many of you are getting things ready both in the field and with your livestock.

For our show families, jackpot season in Missouri kicks off at the end of April—so now is the time to make sure your feed program is lined out and ready to go. 🐄🐖🐑

We also want to let everyone know—Emma and Trey are expecting a new addition around April 7th! 🐣 While we’re excited for them (and joking that it’s perfect timing for an Easter hatch!), this does mean our main website manager and the person who organizes all online feed orders will be out for a bit.

Because of that, we need our customers to plan ahead and allow extra lead time on all feed orders. This will be especially important as we get closer to jackpot season.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve ventured across state lines and have added a pick up location in Kansas! We’ve worked with many great families in eastern Kansas the past few years, and we were happy to jump on the opportunity to bring feed to the area.
