Some of y’all have gotten so used to living in pain that you call it “normal.”

Normal headaches.
Normal tight shoulders.
Normal low back pain.
Normal stress.
Normal running on empty.

That is not normal. That is your body adapting to being ignored.

You can keep pushing through it if you want to… but eventually your body collects the bill.

Sunday is the perfect time to reset before another week of work, stress, and overdoing it. Take care of the body that has been carrying you through everything.

Stop waiting until the pain gets worse to do something about it.

Book with Jason Butts LMT and go into this week feeling less worn down and more like yourself.

First Interview is officially in the books 😂

I was sick, my voice was fighting for its life, and it was our first time on camera… so naturally it went exactly how you’d expect.

Somewhere between “professional interview” and “please somebody come get me” — but hey, we showed up and made it happen.

If nothing else, at least it gave everybody a laugh 🤠🐍

If you watched it, rate my performance:
1. Nailed it
2. Survived it
3. Looked like I was being interviewed against my will

🔥 Sweetwater Quick Check-In…

Be honest…

How many of you are walking around right now with:

• Tight shoulders
• Neck tension
• A stiff back
• Knots that just won’t go away

Most people wait until it gets really bad before they do something about it.

I only have 5 massage appointments left this week before the schedule is full.

If you want one of the remaining spots, comment “RELIEF” or send me a message and I’ll get you scheduled.

“The Neck Muscle Almost Everyone Ignores (Until It Hurts)”

Most people think their neck pain is just “sleeping wrong.”

But one of the biggest culprits is a muscle called the levator scapulae.

This muscle runs from the top of your shoulder blade to the upper neck. Its job is simple:

• Lift the shoulder blade
• Help turn your head
• Stabilize the neck

But modern life destroys it.

Phones.
Desk work.
Driving.
Stress.
Sleeping weird.

When the levator scapulae tightens, you may notice:

• Pain when turning your head
• A stiff neck when you wake up
• A knot along the top of your shoulder blade
• Pain that shoots from neck into shoulder
• Tension headaches

Many people ignore it… until the pain becomes constant.

That’s where massage therapy can help.

Within my scope as a Licensed Massage Therapist, treatment may help:

• Reduce muscle tension
• Improve mobility in the neck and shoulders
• Decrease trigger point irritation
• Promote circulation to tight tissues
• Help restore normal muscle function

Often when the levator scapulae relaxes, people immediately say:

“I can actually turn my head again.”

Pain is your body’s signal that something needs attention.

Ignoring it usually makes the problem worse.

If your neck feels like it has a permanent knot, it might not be your neck at all — it could be the levator scapulae pulling everything tight.

If you’re in Sweetwater Texas, I’d be happy to help.

If your job is hard on your body, your recovery should be intentional. 💆‍♂️

Stress, lifting, driving, long hours, repetitive work, and physically demanding days can leave your neck, shoulders, back, and hips tight, sore, and overworked.

Targeted deep tissue massage focuses on the areas carrying the most tension and works with purpose to help reduce muscle tightness and improve mobility.

Deep tissue is not about using the most pressure possible.
It’s about using the right pressure in the right areas.

You push through a lot.
Your body feels all of it.

Message me to book your session.
