Maya's programs are built around access, connection, knowledge, empowerment, and culturally-congruent mentorship. MAYA’s perinatal services are designed to support the goals of the Plan for a Healthy Allegheny to reduce overall maternal deaths, fetal and infant deaths, preterm and low-weight births, to promote safe sleep and breastfeeding, and to reduce racial disparities in these outcomes. MAYA Organization is excited to announce the return of our monthly FREE Perinatal Support Skill Shares, beginning April 21, 2026. We would love for any birth workers, doulas, or other community workers who are interested in expanding their knowledge and strengthening their skills to join us once a month via ZOOM for collaborative learning and connection.
