Wrap-around support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Maya's programs are built around access, connection, knowledge, empowerment, and culturally-congruent mentorship. MAYA’s perinatal services are designed to support the goals of the Plan for a Healthy Allegheny to reduce overall maternal deaths, fetal and infant deaths, preterm and low-weight births, to promote safe sleep and breastfeeding, and to reduce racial disparities in these outcomes. In addition, we focus on maternal mental health and aim to reduce traumatic births and perinatal mood disorders.
