As an acupuncturist of over 20 years It is really interesting to me that now everyone wants a piece of the needling modality. YES it works. But if you expand the scope of dry needling to longer needle retention time and electro stimulation on the needle. its just acupuncture. Please take a few min to go sign a witness slip. A weekend course is not long enough to know how to needle people safely. They don't have to take a clean needle class or pass a test.

So we need everyone's help again. Our profession is being targeted again.

SB 3560 – which would allow PTs, OT's and Athletic trainers to expand the definition and use of Dry Needling – has been posted to the Senate Licensed Activities Committee for next Tuesday, Mar. 25, at 1:30 pm.

Please take another 5 min out of your day and sign an OPPOSING witness slip. We did great with the last bill. Please make sure your slip says Opponent not Proponent. I know it can be confusing.

Following an IL incident where a NADA certificate holder misused their credentials to perform whole-body acupuncture, ILSA spent the past 2 years in good-faith dialogue with the IL EarAcu4All while reviewing the proposal's intent & implementation w/ AAAA, Asian American Acupuncture Association.

Concerns have been raised about how the NADA model is being implemented& it has been described by promoters as a "side hustle & a way to boost income streams," raising ?s about whether it is positioned as patient care or an additional income opportunity.

I have in my practice a very unique and special electro-stimulation machine. I put the electrodes on the needles to enhance the treatment. This is the machine that Dr Fuda from Taiwan made. He treated a 100 cancer patients a day in Taiwan. They would stand in line for hours. He was very successful with it. There were even many survivor clubs that played games together and had book clubs. I feel very fortunate to have one of the few units out there in my practice.

It’s such a small world. I was talking with my mom’s friend and neighbor about her brother who is an acupuncturist in Germany doing auricular acupuncture. In 2006 I took some courses from a German doctor that’s an auricular acupuncture expert and wrote a many books on the subject. The brother studied with the same doctor. What a small world. Dr Strimatter taught me how to use a point finder to find active auricular points. I thought why only do this in the ear. I still use a point finder on all my patients to this day and it’s made me a much more successful acupuncturist.

This is what you can expect to look like right after microneedling. For 24 hours. No washing. No make-up. Only the hyaluronic acid that I give you should be applied. Stay out of the sun. After 24 hours you should have a nice glow. If you do treatments once a month for 5-6 months your fine lines and wrinkles should lessen. You hair should grow thicker in places micro needled.
