Denny PT Solutions

Denny PT Solutions One morning during my junior year in HS I woke up with a burning desire to become a physical therapist! That is my purpose in life!

I believe it was Divine inspiration because I had never seen one and only had a vague idea what they really did, but my life's purpose had been set from that morning on. When you're in pain and can't compete or work at your best, you want someone who is going to be all in on getting you through to the other side. You want to be the focus of attention; your goals clearly understood, and able to communicate directly to the person helping you. The only scorecard worth keeping in life is the one tracking how many people you helped and made life easier for. I love to hear clients tell me how they've improved, the pain has gotten better, or how they're back to full tilt action!

Emma, also know as "Emma Jean" when she would temporarily stray into being a little bit naughty, crossed the rainbow bridge.

The OG MURC and Therapy dog was known for herding and guarding "her" young athletes, going exploring as the desire arose, chasing rabbits she could never catch, and catching skunks she should have avoided... much to all of our chagrin.

At times she could give off vibes of: " I'm going to listen to you and sit/ stray/ come/ paw/ whatever, but not because you told me to, but because I want to."

She loved sunning herself anytime she could, and never let little things like mulch, flowers, and plants get in her way....sometimes to my chagrin.

Every the loyal companion and consummate guard dog, she always wanted to have me in her sight, except for those times when the call to explore the surrounding neighborhood came upon her, or she felt the aforementioned young athletes in the gym needed a watchful eye.

While always friendly, she wasn't one to sit idly by and be petted by people, and attempts to call her over by those looking to give her attention often went unheeded, yet there were certain people she created a strong bond with that was unmistakable (you know who you are).

Emma was quite unsure about the young pup Reece in the beginning, and perhaps the role of Alpha was part of it, but true to form, Emma could let Reece think she was Alpha most of the time, while reminding her as needed she still wore the big girl pants.

Emma was a trail blazer and will be missed fiercely.

For those who knew her, please feel free to leave memories and thoughts below.

Be good.

This concludes the deadhang challenge from my friends at .

Great job to everybody who has been going after it this month!

Hope those doing the race today, and the Battle of Hoth have fun and stay warm; you're all tougher than me!

Know what the best news of all is though?

We're one day closer to spring!

Listen to the song.

Don't watch the video because my fat fingers zoomed in before recording it.

Two days to go.

Here's your quick reminder:

You can do anything, just not everything. Go out there and be you.

Happy Tuesday!

We talk about how there are "levels" to everything.

Shout out to for doing one of the last deadhang challenges wearing a 40 # vest!

That's next, next level legendary status!

Last night at a sporting event, my wife got to meet numerous families & athletes I've been so fortunate to work with over the years.

Driving home I reflected on just how damn lucky and blessed I've been to get to work with the local communities, and the numerous individuals & families I've developed personal relationships with!

Words can't express how eternally grateful I am for being called to be a physical therapist, & where and how I get to practice the art.

Love and gratitude to all in this journey!

🎶 Well the weather outside is frightful,
but deadhanging is so delightful.

And when it's negative 33 below,
I hang more, I hang more, I hang more🎶

For those asking "why are you doing this?"

My friends at organized the deadhang challenge for the month of January.

It started at 1 minute Jan 1 st, and 10 seconds gets added everyday. You can do it continuously, or break it up during the day.

You can jump in and try it starting anytime.

BTW, research shows grip strength is associated with longevity. Just don't fool yourself into thinking using a hand gripper conveys longevity benefits.
