Remember that scene from the movie Predator? When Mac takes over the mini- gun and starts mowing down the jungle?

Now imagine your shooting at an opponent, and your paint is falling short. Meanwhile, their return fire is breaking the sound barrier and snapping branches off the trees around you just like that scene.

It looks worse than it feels. No biggie.

Just looking out for the next player, the sport we all love, and the place we get to play at.

2nd annual was phenomenal, the people were amazing, and by all rights I shouldn't have even been there!

Broken toe two weeks out being a barefoot hippie.

Tweaked forearm pretending I'm 25 years younger 10 days before Race... I'm still going back there.

Stung by a yellow jacket in my axillary region that developed a reaction and produced swelling down into my obliques four days out.

With expectations low, or should I say slow, because my wingman and I did not set any speed records, we ventured forth.

The event was a blast, the elevation changes and terrain appropriately called i"nsane," and as always the vibe, the OCR community, and ask that implies, were outstanding!

Shout out to Dana and Aaron and their family
for pulling off another great event!

As always, enjoyed talking with of fame, and all the fellow racers who were getting after it and doing their thing; especially those outside of their comfort zone!

For those who lost their lives while serving our country, and all that occurred leading up to that moment.

For those who have grieved, and still grieve, the loss of their loved ones.

The only way I know how to do "something" is to endure an infinitestimal fraction of discomfort doing The Murph Challenge.
