These 4 are like spring flowers. They bring joy when they show up and make everything bright and happy. We are grateful to work with the best and these 4 are the best dental assistants around! We celebrate them always but we also bring them flowers and treats on Dental Assistant Recognition Week.
We couldn’t do what we do without them.

February is a busy month in the dental world. Multiple annual dental conferences take place in Chicago this week.
Drs. Bosma are currently at the 71st annual AES Scientific meeting. This is just one of the many conferences and lectures they attend throughout the year but it is the one that brings a lot of their colleagues together from across the country. It is a time to discuss the latest scientific studies, changes and developments in the field of dentistry within a community of friends and mentors.

The doctors are out of the office this week attending the annual dental meetings that occur in Chicago this time of year. This is one of the many meetings they attend throughout the year.
They keep up to date on the latest research, procedures, products, and collaborate with colleagues at these meetings. They are passionate in their pursuit of excellence and continued education so that they can provide their patients with the highest level of care dentistry has to offer.

Well this is as close as we are going to get to an office holiday photo. We had another great year with the best crew around. When the Christmas party, with everyone but Ruth in attendance, is full of fun and laughter, and everyone forgets to take a photo, we’ll call it a win. Thank you to Chelsea McGhee Studios for the group photo of those of us who could attend the lovely holiday painting party.

You may have noticed the office is closed for part of this week. Among the many continuing education courses the doctors take, this is an annual meeting they do not miss. This meeting brings together talented and passionate specialists and generalists in our profession to share cases, current scientific studies, techniques and collaborate to bring together the latest diagnostic tools and treatment modalities for our patients.

Good habits start early!
It’s that time of year again. February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. We paid our annual visit to Saint Mary’s School in Sycamore. It was great to see old friends and new. We refreshed and built on the knowledge from last year in K-3. Pre-K learned the basics about caring for their teeth and got to brush and floss Maggie Z. Dragon’s teeth. 🦷
It is always fun to see kids get excited about their dental health.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to our patient family! This is our office Christmas card. The staff Christmas party concluded an epic Secret Santa exchange that has kept us all on our toes the last few weeks. We have some good detectives in our midst😆. Drs. Bosma are so grateful for a wonderful staff family that we enjoy working with every day and are grateful for the amazing patient family we have grown to know and love over the years of serving in this community. Cheers and warm wishes from our family to yours.

The Bosma Dental family is growing! We had a great time celebrating Jessica and her soon to be new addition today 💗 . More celebrations are in our future! We miss Ruth in Colorado but she is always with us in spirit.

It’s February and Children’s National Dental Health Month! Dr. Ramona, Vanessa and Maggie Z. Dragon are at it again! Today they visited the PK3, PK4, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Sycamore. It was a blast seeing our friends again! Many have seen the presentation since they were in PK3 and are now 3rd graders! Increasing the dental IQ in children is important in promoting life-long dental health.

Dr. Ramona spent the weekend in Bloomington,IL serving as a delegate for the Illinois State Dental Society’s 158th Annual session and 33rd annual House of Delegates Meeting. As the past president of the Fox River Valley Dental Society she is honored to represent her local component at the state level. Dr. Bosma is passionate about the dental profession and maintaining high quality standards in the profession across the state.
