This six-week group begins on March 28th and will be run by our adolescent therapist, Kassie.

As of 9:30 AM, we plan to open the pantry up at noon like usual.

If the weather worsens, however, we may have to close early for the safety of our volunteers and patrons.

Times are hard. This Giving Tuesday, your donation means more than ever.

A gift to Cornbread & Roses goes directly towards sustaining the vital services we provide: counseling, food pantry, community events, support groups, and more!

What began three years ago as a tiny counseling service and roadside pantry for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Sylva has blossomed into a lively neighborhood hub with five licensed counselors and a high volume, low-barrier food pantry where we distribute thousands of pounds of food to Jackson County residents each week.

CBR is a proudly q***r- and trans-led organization and our work continues to center the importance of addressing the needs of rural q***rs. It's your generosity that allows us to keep our lights on and our door open.
