Today was one of those mornings that truly fills your heart. 💛
We were so blessed to have students from WCU Recreational Therapy join us at The Hermitage. They spent time connecting with our memory care residents through music—bringing back memories, smiles, and sweet moments that words can’t always capture. 🎶
In assisted living, the fun continued with balloon noodle ball, where laughter filled the room and everyone got in on the excitement! 🎈
These are the moments that matter most—connection, joy. We are so grateful for the time and love these students shared with our residents today.

🍑 Happy National Peach Cobbler Day at The Hermitage! 🍑
Today we celebrated one of the sweetest days of the year with a classic southern favorite—peach cobbler! Nothing brings smiles quite like delicious cobbler and great company. 💛
Our residents enjoyed every bite, and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a little extra sweetness and laughter shared together.
Days like today remind us that it’s the simple joys—good food, good friends, and sweet memories—that make life so special. 🍨✨

It’s going to be such a special afternoon filled with uplifting gospel music, fellowship, and fun — and we can’t wait to share it with our community!
Right now, we are still looking for donations for our Silent Auction. Gift baskets, handmade items, gift cards, or services — every donation makes a difference and helps support our Activities Program for our residents.

Happy Tuesday from The Hermitage☀️
We started our day with a cozy coffee social, sharing smiles and great conversation ☕️ Then we got moving with some chair yoga to stretch and feel our best 🧘‍♀️
Our residents enjoyed a fun game of Connect 4, followed by a relaxing afternoon of coloring and soaking up the sunshine out on the patio 🎨🌿
