Birth justice includes the right to make informed decisions during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Birth justice requires that care is free from harm, coercion, unwanted medical interventions, and cultural incompetence.

Today. We stood still. Our Mother returned to her Creator. Assata Shakur was the first lesson in liberation that many of us found, deep in our pain, searching for the answers to an unjust world. She taught us how to birth revolution through love and resilience. We will not forget. Assata is FREE 🕊️
