We’re stepping into a new chapter at Safe Space Organization, and we’re looking for a few aligned, engaged humans to join our Board of Directors 🤍

Safe Space is a Central New York nonprofit focused on changing the conversation around mental health through education, peer support, and community connection. As we rebuild and grow, we’re intentionally forming a working board—people who want to be part of the doing, not just the idea.

We’re currently seeking board members with strengths in:
✨ Fundraising & Development
✨ Marketing & Social Media
✨ Programming & Corporate Partnerships
✨ Legal & Compliance (nonprofit compliance + insurance oversight)
✨ Secretary

This is for people who:
• care deeply about mental health access
• enjoy building structure and sustainability
• want to contribute time, skills, and heart

This number isn’t random.
It represents the work we’re stepping into as we prepare for 2026 — a year dedicated to expanding Safe Space programs, strengthening community support, and continuing to make mental health resources accessible for every family in Central New York.

Every single dollar given this week goes directly toward:
• community groups and circles
• mental-health education + workshops
• support for teens and adults navigating tough seasons
• creating more spaces where people can breathe, be seen, and feel safe

Even though some time has passed, the answers are still just as meaningful. They remind us that everyone carries their own version of safety, support, and grounding.
