Here are 10 tips for a safer 4/20 for those who participate!
1️⃣ Ensure all cannabis/substances are safe from little hands and pets
- Up high, out of sight, out of reach

- They can look like candy or baked goods
- Make sure anybody around knows if a food or drink contains THC
- Know that edibles take longer to take effect - avoid overconsumption!
- Read labels and serving sizes carefully
3️⃣ Test unknown substances for traces of Fentanyl
- Cross contamination does happen and can be fatal!

- Use age-appropriate conversations about risks, expectations, and responsible consumption for legal aged adults.

- Warning signs, labels, and child resistance packages reduce exposure risk!
8️⃣ Pick an appropriate time in your day
- Chill time is your time - Make sure your responsibilities are complete before relaxing.
- Errands, school pickup, groceries, work. Get it done so you can unwind in peace.
- Do not supervise children or operate a vehicle while under the influence❗

- Extreme drowsiness or confusion
