December is National Impaired Driving Awareness Month, a time to pause, reflect, and take action. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’™ Impaired driving continues to impact countless lives, families, and communities, and the choices we make truly matter. Whether impairment comes from alcohol, drugs, or distractions, getting behind the wheel while impaired puts everyone at risk.

This month, we encourage you to plan ahead, speak up, and look out for one another. Choose a sober ride, use rideshare services, designate a driver, or simply stay where you are if youโ€™re not in a safe state to drive.

Letโ€™s work together to keep our roads safe, not just this month, but every day. By raising awareness, supporting prevention efforts, and making responsible choices, we can save lives and protect our communities. ๐Ÿ’™

With Blackout Wednesday approaching, the night before Thanksgiving known for heavy alcohol use, weโ€™re reminding our community that celebration and responsibility can go hand in hand. ๐ŸŒŸ

This time of year often brings increased risks related to impaired driving, alcohol misuse, and unsafe situations. But when we plan ahead and look out for one another, we can keep our holidays joyful, connected, and safe. ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

It is important that you are:
1๏ธโƒฃ Planning a safe ride before heading out, such as designated drivers, rideshares, or staying with trusted friends
2๏ธโƒฃ Practicing harm reduction by pacing drinks, staying hydrated, and keeping an eye on your beverages
3๏ธโƒฃ Reducing alcohol-related harm through education, empathy, and community support

At Prevention Network, we believe that healing begins with understanding. ๐Ÿ’œ

International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day is a time to honor those weโ€™ve lost, uplift those who are grieving, and recognize that healing after su***de loss is a journey. ๐ŸŒŸ

Grief after su***de is complex. It can bring questions, isolation, and emotions that feel overwhelming. But when we acknowledge the unique challenges survivors face, we make room for compassion, connection, and hope. ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ฌ When we understand the emotional, mental, and social impact of su***de loss, we can create pathways to healing, offering empathy, resources, and community instead of silence.

Together, weโ€™re building a culture that values care over judgment and connection over isolation. ๐ŸŒฟ

Weโ€™re creating a community rooted in understanding, compassion, and healing, one story, one person, and one act of kindness at a time.

On November 20th we join in celebrating, Great American Smokeout! Weโ€™re joining communities nationwide in encouraging anyone who uses commercial to***co or ni****ne products to take a step, big or small, toward a healthier future. ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ

Quitting ni****ne is challenging, and everyoneโ€™s journey looks different. But when we recognize the physical, emotional, and social factors tied to to***co use, we create space for support, compassion, and hope. ๐Ÿƒ

๐Ÿ’ก When we understand the impact of ni****ne dependence and the value of harm reduction, we build pathways to wellness, offering resources, encouragement, and community instead of stigma.

Key ways we can support this day include: ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ
โ€ข Recognizing ni****ne dependence as a treatable medical condition
โ€ข Offering tools like counseling, NRT, quitlines, and harm-reduction strategies
โ€ข Reducing stigma through education, empathy, and community support

Together we can spread understanding, compassion, and wellness within our community๐ŸŒŸ
