Your body has a clock.

Not a metaphor...an actual internal schedule. Chinese medicine mapped it out thousands of years ago and called it the organ clock. Each organ system gets a two-hour window where it’s doing its most active work.
Which means the 2am wake-up isn’t random. That’s Liver time, the organ responsible for processing, moving, and releasing. Not just physically. Emotionally too.
The 3am anxiety that makes no sense at 10pm? Liver.
The 5am wide-awake-before-the-alarm? Lung, grief, letting go, the breath.
The 3pm crash? Bladder meridian. Yes, really.
I find this endlessly useful in clinic. When someone tells me what time they wake up or when their pain peaks, it tells me something. The body isn’t random. It’s on schedule.
