Patients ages 16 and older can now receive treatment for non-emergency conditions from 7AM to 10PM on weekdays at the Nappi Wellness Institute — no appointment or primary care provider required.

For pediatric patients, Upstate Golisano Pediatric After Hours Care located at the Nappi Wellness Institute continues to provide evening and weekend care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries.

Full-day walk-in hours help meet growing community demand for non-emergency care.

Community donations shatter last year’s total as nearly 1,500 donors give over two days.

GRATEFUL PATIENT: Dr. David Hootnick shares a cake with the staff of Upstate University Hospital Emergency Department to celebrate the life-saving care he received 25 years ago today, Feb. 11, after his vehicle collided with a snowplow.

After suffering multiple injuries, Hootnick was airlifted from Pompey Center Road to the hospital.

“I am forever grateful,” he said of the ED doctors, nurses, technicians, and others who helped save his life.
