Today our Kienzle Family Maternity Center team received a generous donation from former patient Jessica, in memory of her son, Rowen, who was born still this past May. To honor him and raise awareness for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, Jessica raised funds to create heartfelt care packages for mothers experiencing a similar loss.
Jessica shared that she’s deeply grateful for the care and compassion she received at Crouse.
“We can’t change what’s happening, but we can try to help change your perspective on it,” added Liz DaBlock, RN.
As the letter states inside the box:
Rowen’s Reach was created so that his love could stretch into the arms of others. “I hope mothers can open the box and feel comfort, care, and connection.” -Rowen’s Mom
