November 18th is National Injury Prevention Day!

Injuries are the leading cause of death and disability in the U.S. for individuals ages 1 to 44. On average, more than 4,000 people per year in Onondaga County are hospitalized as a result from unintentional injuries.

Upstate Trauma has teamed up with Safe Kids Upstate NY Coalition, the Clark Burn Center and Upstate Pediatric Trauma for this years awareness campaign.

Please join us in lighting up your home or business green in recognition of this special day and to raise awareness for those affected by unintentional injuries.

Stay tuned for pictures of all the locations who shined a light green for this initiative!
