Meet Dr. Steve ...
A 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Steve has been in practice as a Chiropractor and Holistic Consultant at his present location in Syracuse, NY for 25 years. Has taught Network Chiropractic seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada and gives talks, lectures and speeches to various groups on health and wellness. Dr. Wechsler has traveled throughtout the world several times to teach and study with some of the great minds on Spirtual Matters and Ayurveda. He formed Simply Ayuveda Seminars and has taught in the U.S., Canada, Europe, India and Australia. He has studied with Dr. Deepak Chopra M. D., Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Pankaj Naram, Sai Maa, and Dr. Donald Epstein. Radio host of Wake Up with Dr. Steve on WSYR for six years and Co-host of Health Matters TV. Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic health care is holistic, recognizing exercise, diet, rest, environment, and heredity as factors that affect health. The treatment is natural, DRUGFREE, and nonsurgical relying on the body’s inherent ability to heal. Changes in lifestyle–eating, exercise, sleeping habits– may also be recommended. The purpose of an Ayurvedic treatment is to go after the root cause of disease or imbalance in the body, and restore the body to its natural, joyful and balanced condition. The role of the Ayurvedic practitioner is to show you the unhealthy patterns in your mind and body, and teach you ways to regain health through the use of foods, herbs and daily practices. When you begin to eat, live and cleanse your body in ways that are appropriate for your unique constitutional needs,
your body can naturally heal itself
and remain vigorous into old age. Ayurveda, the “Science of Life,” is a holistic, natural approach to medicine that originated thousands of years ago in India, and is currently enjoying a major resurgence throughout the world. Ayurveda offers wisdom to help people stay vital while realizing their full human potential, by providing guidelines on ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet and behavior, and the proper use of our senses. Ayurveda considers our patterns of sleep, digestion, elimination, and our state of mind as the four legs that support our table of good health. When we bring balance to these four important area associated with our health, we can not only cure ailments, we can ward off disease. The science of Ayurveda describes three fundamental forces that exist in our bodies and minds, described as Vata, Pitta and Kapha. When these forces are in balance, we are happy, healthy and vital. When these forces are out of balance, we may experience discomfort, distress, and possibly disease. Ayurveda concerns itself with correcting the imbalances of these forces, or doshas, in your body and mind. Health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body, mind and spirit. Light Therapy
Cold Laser Therapy (LLLT) and InLight LED Light Therapy are treatments that utilize specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is thought to help accelerate the healing process. It can be used on patients who suffer from a variety of acute and chronic conditions in order to help eliminate pain, swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality. Light Therapy can stimulate all cell types including muscle, ligament, cartilage, nerves, etc., so a num- ber of conditions can be treated by Light Therapy, including:

Meet Dr Steve

A 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Wechsler has been in practice as a Chiropractor and holistic consultant at his present location in Syracuse, NY for over 30 years.

He works in conjunction with the Holistic Center of CNY covering many holistic therapies as well as traditional treatment.

He has taught Network Chiropractic seminars throughout the U.S. and Canada and gives talks, lectures and speeches to various groups on health and wellness.

For most of his life, Dr. Steve has not only devoted himself to his practice, but also to his and other's fulfillment of their human potential. With an open heart and a tendency for being of service, Dr. Steve has an untenable curiosity and drive to make the lives of everyone around him better.

While he IS a certified Chiropractor, and not a certified life coach, his studies of various schools and methodologies for self development and human potential make him a gift for the lives he touches in the Central New York community.

Before coming to Syracuse, Dr. Steve was a staff member of Anthony Robbins motivational seminars participating in over 20 seminars and events. Now, he is an active participant in the Landmark Forum and organizes opportunities for anyone who asks to get to know this life changing work and community.

Dr. Steve has traveled to India on several occasions to study Spiritual matters and Ayurveda, which he offers as part of his holistic practice at Network Healing Arts and his role with Simply Ayurveda, presenting Mind/Body seminars occasionally throughout the U.S, Canada, France, and India.

He also holds a Mind/Body Medicine certificate from the Sharp Institute and the Chopra Center which were presented by Dr. Deepak Chopra.

Dr Steve was also Radio Host of Wake Up with Dr. Stephen Wechsler on WSYR for six years and co-host on WSYR the Nutritional Insight Show for two years.

Besides offering treatment for body pains, educating his patients on holistic health for the mind, body, and soul, and telling stories that start with "Back in my day...", Dr. Steve volunteers as Ski Patrol at the various slopes around New York, organizes fundraisers to buy and fix bikes for children, and mentors youth of different abilities.

In the winter, you can find Dr. Steve figuring out how to sleep in sub-zero weather with survival courses, and in the summer, lounging on his sail boat on Lake Skaneateles.

He also thinks he is very funny.
