Injuries and physical strain can take a toll, but floating can help. Recently, two of our members came in for some much-needed relief. One was dealing with a sore back after weeks of late-season landscaping work. Another was managing a lingering hip injury. In both cases, their float sessions offered something that’s often hard to come by: dedicated time for the body to truly rest.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you have to stay in the float tank for the full 90 minutes, the answer is simple: you’re always in control.

You can end your float whenever you’d like, and staff are nearby if you need anything. The door is never locked, so you’re free to step out at any time.

That said, 90 minutes gives you the best opportunity to experience the full benefits of floatation therapy. Research shows that spending at least 60 minutes in the tank allows your body and mind to reach their most restorative state.

For first-time floaters, the extra time helps you unwind and get comfortable. Once you settle in, your body begins to relax, your breathing slows, and you can fully experience the stillness that floating is known for.

No pressure, just presence. Let your float unfold at your own pace.
