Please join in welcoming Mellenie Porter as a Therapist Intern to Renew Mental Health! 

Mellenie Porter is a student at Bellevue University seeking a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. She has past experience in working in the human service field, and she firmly believes in the power of the human mind to build resiliency through self-reflection and compassionate, supportive care. Under the supervision of licensed professionals, Mellenie approaches counseling from a Cognitive Behavioral perspective, and she desires to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. She is dedicated to supporting families and individuals of all ages in developing coping skills and in increasing their understanding of their anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the impact of their past experiences. Mellenie is excited to partner with Renew Mental Health in helping our community thrive.

Accepting new clients December 1, 2025

Sessions with Mellenie are offered at a reduced rate of $50 and are available on a self‑pay basis (card, check, or HSA funds accepted). We are unable to bill insurance while she completes her internship.
