Due to the federal government shutdown, Washington State DSHS will not be able to issue SNAP food benefits in November. Existing funds on EBT cards will remain and unused funds will continue to roll over into the next month. Cash benefits for November will still be distributed as usual.

Ya think so, why or why not? Do you know what dopamine is and how it uses you?

New research reveals that dopamine, best known for motivation and reward, also plays a key role in regulating anxiety and emotional choices. Scientists studied two dopamine receptors, D1 and D2, in the ventral hippocampus, a brain region critical for balancing approach and avoidance behaviors under stress.

They discovered that activating D2 receptor neurons reduced fear in mice, while D1 neurons influenced emotions differently. This highlights how dopamine signaling in the hippocampus shapes moment-to-moment decisions, such as whether to take risks or avoid danger processes often disrupted in anxiety and mood disorders.

Interestingly, these dopamine receptors, commonly associated with reward and movement, are active in the hippocampus too. Targeting D2 neurons could open new avenues for therapies aimed at reducing fear and anxiety, offering a fresh perspective beyond traditional treatments.

They like coming over to the shop after school. I love that they ask to get massages and meditate. , Zylionna, the one that's hungry, now brags to her friends about getting her session in and has no problem saying that I missed her Wednesday appointment.

As parents we stay sayin they get on our nerves but have you considered that due to us adults not having work life balance boundaries that we could be getting on theirs?🤔

Start incorporating 5 min of quiet time and sit and breath with your babies. Be the example of sit down and shut up . 😉
