How I can help you:
An initial visit will generally consist of body assessment, adding postural awareness, & arranging an ideal outcome (pain relief, enhanced range of motion, better breathing, etc.) for each individual I perform bodywork upon.
I strive to learn daily. This is how i help best; when I receive specific “muscle missions”/client centered approach. I then adopt personal experience and cross-reference that w/ past client/patient “body data”.

Common ExampLe: Left shoulder pain. (Punching, pulling, holding, heaving) most injuries are repetitive stress related, and can be simplified @ the source. Core instability is usually the chief aiM.
Initially, I will seek the origin of the tension/discomfort, by tracing the tissue to the joint. This is to provide a clear path to open and close (flex/extend, stretch/shorten, stimulate/sleep) the affected areas.

Pain is felt when nociCeptors(pain detectors) are “trapped” somewhere along the ‘body network’. Entrapment leads to impingement which leads to weakness & eventually atrophy.
By locating the points of origin, I aiM to align the “fascia frame” & mobiLize the tissue. Based upon personal experience, and working w/ countless bodies, w/ careful attention towards athletes, I create a schema(visual aid) in my mind & begin “simulating the sequences” that might cause pain in order to ascertain how to “reaD & release” the “repetitive” stress responses that are stuck in the motor Skill pathways of the cLient.

From here, I do pressure test the body, in manageable pockets. For example, for shoulder pain, rather than flex the entire arm, I stimulate the radiobrachialis by simulating “thumb wrestling” to circulate the thumb joint, which relieves tension on the epicondyles(elbow pointers) and measure the wrist mobility.

If it is wrist pain, I do the opposite, and stabilize the hands and finger joints, circulating from the acromion Process and “pumping pressure” @ the AC joint, to stir the brachiaL pLexus. Then, adding tactical touches to the eLbow joints, I gauge where the impingement is occuring(most usually @ the pisiform(karate chop bone) which is entrapping the uLna nerve near the tricep. The reason for pain is a lack of circulating fLow (blood, oxygen, chi/electric impulses)). The “cold nerves” are very sensitive, and it is because the tissue is “sleeping awkward” and voila itself up, in a protective state, to best preserve functionaL energy to the unit(limb, organelle, side of body). More on this in the future.

By tracing the oRigin, and aiding the iMpact, my goaL is to alleviate the anxiety. For athletes, this would indicate, being able to consciously stabilize the area and continue coordinated are breathing. For people who enjoy not being a glutton for pain, it means finding a resting state that they can self govern, and manage the motion w/ coordinated circulation to “calm the checkpoints” which in the previous example, would be the thumb, wrist, elbow, shoulder.

Ultimately, the theory behind my ideas are that the body is able to do its job most effectively, when the distress becomes eustress. The signals of strength outweigh the signs of weakness, and the body “feeLs” better, because it can focus on balance. (Systemic Serenity = healthy hypoThaLamus)

PROPrioCepTiVe priMing heLps enhance eLasticity. AKin to refreshinG the mind-MuscLe Connection... PersonaLLy, I view it as a form of “RecoiL reProgramming”, as a way to ‘refreshed rhythm’ into the “rigid refLexes.”

This is a perspective I adopted from bodybuiLding, but it makes great sense in reLation to the “Gateway Theory of PaiN” as weLL as “motor skiLL hacking” for skiLL deveLoPMent. This is my opinion, heaviLy weighted towards an esoteric view of “braiN power.” We can think our boDy into a more effective powerhouse w/ priMed puLses.. think ideaL perspective, reverse engineered into Optimized SoLutioNs.

To keep iT as simpLe as I know how to put iT, the GoLgi Tendon OrgaNeLLes act as the “griP”, & Gamma GaiN is the “NeuRoFLex” that stimuLates the skeLetaL tissue. We must either exhaust or reLax the goLgi Tendon refLex in order to “reset the rhythm”. If this is not done, the brain responds to the “gamma gain”/muscuLar tension, as if we are in pain, which sends a distress sigNaL to the GoLgi Tendon OrganeLLe, acting as a sort of “seLf iMposed LimitatioN” = PLateau.

This act of protection, iN aCtuaLity, Limits our Range of Motion, and consoLidates the “feeLs” in an arrangement best suited for a fight or fLight response. iE, the nerves tense up ready to respond to a threat, even if it’s not an imminent experience.
In turn, our synaptic Highway is Limited/shortened, Linking the Loops best suited for quicker response time.. this notion is based upon the principLes of the HoMuncuLus as a Mind Map, which i refer to as a Chocobo Eater, from FinaL Fantasy X. 🤓
In other words, if we can cLear the cLutter and best estabLish the center Line(gLobaL unity by way of a stabLe soLar Plexus) as a posturaL standard, we can change how the “road is traveLLed”.
