11/28/2025
I’m a working songwriter, astrologer, and pagan priestess, as well as a mom of two amazing toddlers, whom I adore more than anything.
2025 was one of the most profound years of my life, but most of those results hide under the surface. Things don’t look much different on the outside than they did a year ago, but inside, I’ve completely transformed. (Hello, 8th House Solar Return Year! Whoa! 🤯)
2026 offers the chance to align with these changes in the external realm, so I’m sharing a couple of lessons I’ve gained in the hopes they may encourage or inspire others to step into alignment with their transformed and healed selves, too.
This was all written by me, not AI. (Another conscious choice I will make going forward to be transparent about.)
1. Equating “Busy” with “Aligned”.
Sometimes I feel ready to share and give everything I have. Sometimes, I can gracefully allow myself to regenerate and keep private what I am alchemizing.
2. Free labor disguised as “visibility”.
I reject the idea that, to be spiritual, one must offer one’s talents and labor at no cost. I provide genuine value with honesty and integrity.
3. Undercharging for my spiritual and creative work.
My offerings reflect the real value of my devotion and hard work. I deserve to be paid for that effort, especially when it takes time away from my family.
4. Secretly judging my own personal expression as “cringe”.
I choose to no longer shrink myself in rooms where I might seem “too much” or “overly expressive”. I’m done over-explaining myself to make others feel more comfortable with my presence.
5. Choosing safe over seen.
I’m committing to jumping headfirst into projects I’ve dreamt of for years, even if I’m not “ready” or if I feel like people won’t care or understand. I don’t owe my creative output to anybody except myself.
6. Choosing comfort over growth.
I choose to dive into the deep end of creation, of movement, of devotion, and of commitment to my practice. This is not about punishing myself, but about recognizing when I get in the way of my own progress.
This will take practice. I’m starting now.
Follow me for progress.
