We were so close to also being able to say “3,000 patients served” but we’re around 2,925 as of today 😅

A lot of advisories like this are slipping through the cracks with the federal mandate halting public announcements from the FDA and CDC.

Did you know that adolescents are one of the most medically underserved populations?

- most cardiovascular disease is due to underlying health changes that begin in adolescence or earlier
- same for diabetes and some other metabolic diseases
- over 40% of teenagers in the US have symptoms of depression and anxiety
- Children 13 and older in the state of WA have conditional autonomy over their mental and reproductive healthcare
- Only a small portion of teenagers receive the recommended annual health screening, including blood pressure checks and STI prevention

Our clinic was honored to be featured in a recent council hearing, alongside . Our businesses were chosen to be highlighted in announcement of Small Business Saturday.

Like Tacoma, our clinic punches above its weight class. Medicine should not be a profit driven industry. The business of American healthcare makes it hard for small groups like ours to survive. But we’re here and growing because people need us; and we need them. As we evolve, our mission will remain the same — to provide Whole Person care to everyone, regardless of identity or social status.

We recommend planning ahead for your child’s return to school this fall — especially if they are overdue for an annual checkup. Screen early and often 😄

We prioritize discussions of mental health and healthy lifestyle, screen for hearing and vision concerns, and order tests or referrals as needed. We also have the full recommended vaccine schedule for children ages 0-18, free to all.

It’s never too early or too late to teach self care to children 🥰

✨ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS✨

We’ll say it again – PREVENTION IS EVERYTHING! It cannot be overstated how important a healthy childhood is for a person’s lifelong health and longevity.

The conventional medical model is sometimes overly focused on “what’s wrong” and loses sight of “what’s right.” It is just as important to support healthy relationships and life-affirming activities for children as it is to protect them from harm. Your child’s pediatrician should be actively discussing positive parenting, healthy behaviors, education, and play at routine health checks.

But, when your child is sick, we’ve got it covered. We partner with families to identify their values and health goals, and we use treatments that are most in line with these. Our doctors recognize there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing.

We are VERY Excited to be announcing the edition of our latest team member Stacy!!!
Stacy joined our clinic in September of 2023 as our receptionist/M.A and we are so thankful to have her on our team. Stacy is exceptionally knowledgeable in her field and will be a strong asset to our clinic as we continue to grow. Stacy's medical career started 14 years ago as an Esthetician with a desire to help people with their skin conditions and challenges. After completing the Medical Assistant program at Everest College, she developed her interest in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology, as well as a passion for Skin Cancer education and surgery. Stacy is proud of the patients she has served while working alongside renowned Dermatologists and mentors she has met along her professional journey.
More than her love for skincare and health, is the love for her community.
When Stacy is not in the clinic you can find her out and about in our beautiful Stadium District walking her dog, Rosie. Playing at Wrights Park with her sons and husband or catching a cult classic at The Grand Cinema.
