So learn together! You might even get some laughs in while you’re at it. Think about that new way of saying a word. Or that different food that just doesn’t look right. Side note: It took me a super long time to understand why Americans put cheese on EVERYTHING!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These can be precious moments for you as a couple so it’s super important for you to be patient with each other. Everyone has their own pace! Agree? Give us ašŸ‘šŸ¾ in the comments!

Heal so that the next generation doesn’t have to pay for wounds they didn’t inflict. Happy Wednesday!

Today my therapist said it’s okay to rest because I’ve done a lot already. But I couldn’t have done it without my Father in heaven and the team He’s blessed me with. Here’s

A moment to celebrate BLACK SISTERHOOD and the bridges amongst Black folx in the US. We’re so dedicated to our connection and rewriting the history between African immigrants and African Americans, in our own little ways. Here’s to love. Here’s to accountability. Here’s to history. Here’s to growth. Here’s to my sister and this PhD we got!

I hope one of these settles in your spirit.
I hope one of these reminds you of your journey.
I hope one of these answers your burning questions.
I hope one of these reminds you that you are not alone.

WE ARE OUTSIDEEEEEEEEE!!!! I spent the last week in Hawaii at a conference for therapists and when sessions were over, guess what I did….. I ATE! And my mom couldn’t tell me ā€œThere’s rice at home!ā€
We have to allow ourselves to indulge every now and then. We deserve it!
Happy Tuesday!
What are you indulging in lately? Share with us in the comments ā¬‡ļø

I often look back at the bumpy road that led me to motherhood and I gotta say, healed Phebe makes an amazing mother. Or as my boys say, ā€œYou’re the best mom everā€ 🄹🄹🄹
Our children can be some of the biggest beneficiaries of our healing. They get to access the layers of ourselves that would have otherwise been hidden. They get to experience our vulnerability and congruence. They get to witness the grace we’ve learned to give ourselves and others.
So this is your reminder to get on someone’s schedule. Go talk to the lady! And if you’re in Washington, come find someone to talk to at . We are here for you!

If you grew up where the sun had manners and now live where it clocks out at 4:15 PM… this one’s for you. 🫠

SAD season hits different when you’re an immigrant:
āž” You’re missing your family and the mango tree in your backyard.
āž” You’re craving sunlight and your mother’s soup.
āž” And people keep saying ā€œjust get outsideā€ like the sun’s not emotionally unavailable.

Here’s your reminder that:
šŸ’” Light therapy is your friend.
šŸ› Comfort food helps, but coping looks like balance.
šŸ“ž Calling home is therapy.
šŸŽ¶ Joy can be a ritual — not a reward.

We’re out here surviving gray skies with seasoning, laughter, and community.
The sun will come back — and when it does, we’ll be ready in our brightest clothes and loudest playlists.
