"I went in yesterday at 41 years old to have my first ever mammogram and ultrasound due to a lump. I was extremely nervous and scared. A friend of mine went to a DIFFERENT facility, a all around different business, where she was left in a cold room, topless and very uncomfortable. My experience with Carol Milgard was the opposite. 🎀 October Highlights 🎀

October was full of community connections and pink pride! 💗

We joined the Come Walk with Me TRA team event, presented to local organizations including the Eliza Jane Meeker Chapter of WA DAR and the Chambers Bay Women’s Club, and attended the Mobile Mammo Kickoff.

We brought the pink spirit to Paint the Mall Pink, connected with the Women’s Council of Realtors in Lacey, and joined the TOTE Health Fair. The fun continued at the Leaders in Women’s Health “Muumuu’s and Mimosas” event and Halloween on the Hill at Tacoma Community House.

We wrapped up the month with the Panera Takeover Fundraiser hosted by the CMBC Alliance and kept the momentum going with events like the KWA Community Expo!
