😬 "I heard Rolfing really hurts…"
I get this one a lot — and I totally understand why. Rolfing had that reputation for years. But here's what my clients *actually* say after their first session:
💬 "That felt like a really satisfying deep stretch."
💬 "Way more relaxing than I expected."
💬 "I can't believe I waited so long to try it!"
The truth is, pressure is always adapted to what you need — gentler where you're more sensitive, firmer where your tissue calls for it. And you're always in control. If something doesn't feel right, I adjust. Simple as that. 🙌
Rolfing works by releasing restrictions in the fascia (the connective tissue wrapped around your muscles and joints) to bring your whole body back into alignment. Less tension, better posture, less pain — without having to white-knuckle your way through it.
