To say it is merely a safety concern to have legal documentation matching the gender identity of individuals is by far an understatement. It's the dignity, the respect and above all the human right to have the correct gender marker on passports and ID's. Thank you to the judge who temporality blocked this inhumane and completely bogus ban on passport markers, we will never stop fighting for our rights, trans intersex & nonbinary people have existed forever and we will only keep shining brighter the darker this administration gets!

Happy Pride Season y’all! 🌈

I think a lot about our q***r and trans elders / ancestors and It feels impossible to celebrate the season without the recognition of all who have walked a very difficult road for us to be where we are today 🏳️‍⚧️

Our community has a very rich & intense history despite attempts at erasure over the years. The first ever Pride being a riot led by trans women of color who faced brutal consequences for who they were. Flashing forward into the AIDS epidemic and how we lost millions of q***rs who would have been our wise elders today.

The system has failed us time and time again yet resilience is the backbone of our community and the glue that holds us together.

To imagine we live in a time where many of us have access to gender affirming care, gender x option on passports and Pride celebrations all over the world, feels like we have come a long way.

Yet there is still a lot of work to be done before our community at large has the protections we deserve in every state and country across the globe.

Without pausing to reflect on where we came from we wouldn’t have the momentum to go forward. Here’s to everyone who paved the path to now and to the future generations who will undoubtedly be taking over the world with a very, very q***r agenda💜🦄🦋

Hey All & Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 Pride is a movement, a revolution that was lead by BIPOC trans women demanding the end of police brutality against the community at large. We have come so far in the revolution and truly do have ✨SO MUCH✨ to celebrate and be proud of, yet we find it to be a time where *some* can celebrate pride but not *all* because of the current laws and legislation across the nation. We must keep fighting for our rights as q***r and trans people and stick together in this uprising now more than ever.
Big shout out to all the q***r and trans elders who fought so hard to pave the way for future generations to have it better than y’all did. Huge respect 🏳️‍🌈 and now it’s our job to carve it out for the next.
The trauma and grief around our collective history as q***r & trans people and especially for QTPOC is so real. We can hold these grievances in the body and need a safe space for release. As a trauma informed LMT I am honored to hold a nurturing space for this work and as always offer sliding scale rates for anyone in need.
Community is what we have to fall back on, to lean into, to by witnessed by and to be supported through it all by one another. The beauty of Q***r joy and celebration is like nothing other 🌻 wherever you are out there I hope you are celebrating what a beautiful person you are and knowing WE WILL continue to fight until ALL can be respected in their full selves, across the nation and across the world. March on y’all, together we so got this 🏳️‍🌈🩵🤍🩷🏳️‍🌈

There has been a lack of surveys that actually track data around trans people and our experiences in the world in order to provide real statistics, which is hugely important for access to resources and numerous other reasons. This is a BIG ONE and super crucial! Spread the word and fill it out fellow trans and gender diverse angels 💜
