Even though he could not attend (he had a good excuse - he was attending the Vizion Health LLC - the company that owns Shoreline - company Christmas Party in Tulsa last Tuesday evening!), Mr. Shoreline, Harry Glavin, wanted us to give a shout out to all who attended the West Texas Juvenile Justice Association of Texas Area Chiefs Conference last week! The newest member of our Marketing Team, Tiffany Carlock Walters (who is off to an awesome start, btw!!), attended the 34th Annual Safe and Sober Luncheon at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Corpus Christi this past Friday! Accompanying Tiffany was her husband, Troy, who also does an amazing job as Shoreline's Screening Admissions Coordinator! 👏

Also pictured with Tiffany is the Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse - Coastal Bend's CEO, Melissa Sweeting, and their Clinical Director, Michelle Smith, two ladies who are working hard to serve the residents of Corpus Christi and surrounding area! Their organization put on this great event! 👏❤️

It was a great time, and thank you to all of the folks who worked hard to make this event happen, and to All Saints' for hosting all of us! 🙏👍

One of our awesome Marketing Representatives, J.P. Rodriguez, attended "AustiNET," which is a monthly meeting held by Austin TAAP, whose purpose is to gather together professionals in the addiction field such as providers, counselors, therapists and marketers! These folks network, trade ideas and work to better serve their communities and each other!

This is an excellent article from CBS News Texas detailing how the holiday season can trigger mental health challenges in children. These challenges can at times lead to teens falling into to help cope with these issues, so if your adolescent is struggling with substances during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. At Shoreline, one of our favorite activities is joining with other organizations in supporting community projects, such as when we journeyed to to celebrate ADA Women's Center's annual fundraising event! Joining our CEO Mark Jackson was Annette Martinez (who is a long time supporter of Shoreline!❤️) with Harmony Grove Behavioral Health, Andie Martinez (Annette's daughter and recent Master of Social Work graduate!) with UTMB Health Pediatrics, and Shari Forward with Galveston County CISM (On a side note, we looking forward to joining Shari and CISM for a community resource exhibit on Dec. 11th and 12th!)!

It was a pleasure to salute ADA Women's Recovery Center with these amazing women on their big day! 👏🎉
