March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, and early detection can save lives.

⚠️Temporary Water Outage Notice

We are working in coordination with Tahlequah Public Works Authority (TPWA) to make necessary improvements.

Water service will be temporarily turned off beginning at 9:00am and is expected to be restored at 1:00pm.

During this time, some restrooms, sinks, and other water services inside the main hospital will be unavailable. Visitors and patients may need to use other designated facilities within Northeastern Health System. Our staff will help direct visitors and patients to available facilities if needed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this necessary maintenance to keep our facility operating reliably.

Please help us welcome Megan Roberts, RN into her new role!

Megan brings 18 years of Labor and Delivery experience and 2.5 years at NHS to this role. Megan graduated in 2005 and went straight into L&D at McAlester Regional Medical Center as a staff nurse, she transitioned to EOMC in 2010 where she was the manager of the Labor and Delivery department for 4 years. She made a move back to McAlester in 2014 as Manager of L&D where she spent the next 7 years. She took an opportunity to travel for a couple of years, but made her way back home when her first grandbaby was born. She started as a staff nurse in our maternity center in 2023 and recently took the position of Clinical Coordinator and now has decided to step into the role of Director.

Megan is an extremely hardworking and dedicated team player that exhibits her integrity and work ethic on a daily basis. She brings a wealth of knowledge to this position and will be a great asset to the leadership team and a fair-minded advocate for her department.
