The Hearts of Gold Gala is just two weeks away!

Make a meaningful impact on healthcare in rural Oklahoma.

Through community generosity and the Annual Hearts of Gold Gala, the Tahlequah Hospital Foundation has already contributed over $2.6 million toward health education scholarships, new facility buildings, expanded service lines, and offered support for patients and NHS employees.

Congratulations to our newest DAISY honoree, Megan Surber!

"Megan is an outstanding nurse. She answered all our questions in terms we could understand. She was polite and understanding of what we are going through and made us feel at ease!
She was in the room every time a beeping on his machines went off! She showed compassion to our father and us as well.
Oh my yes.. throughout her entire shift and every day she was his nurse, she hit all on the C.A.R.E.S on the head. She was all of the above and more. From the get go she came in and told who she was and she took care of my father to the best of her ability. "

❄️ Severe Winter Weather Is Impacting Our Local Blood Supply ❄️

Although the storm has passed, lingering ice and dangerous road conditions have led to the cancellation of 86 blood drives and the loss of more than 1,600 donations across our region. As a result, there is now an emergency shortage of blood — especially platelets and O-negative blood, which are critical for trauma patients, cancer treatments, and emergency surgeries.

Even missing a few days of donations can put lives at risk.

If you are healthy and able to safely travel, please consider donating.

Appointments can be made at obi.org or by calling 877-340-8777. Walk-ins are welcome.
