Before they were leading initiatives and community health events at the Cherokee County Health Service Council, they were just kids with big dreams! 🌟

We are so proud of the team we’ve built. Every one of these faces grew up to become the dedicated professionals serving our community today. Watch to see our RCORP, TSET, SAMHSA, and BEC leaders back in the day! 📸✨

Last week, RCORP Transportation specialists Dusty Rollice and Allen Thornburg had the honor of presenting our transportation program to fellow grantees during the Reverse Site Visit in Washington, DC.

Our team had the opportunity to share how this program supports rural communities by helping individuals get to critical appointments through a confidential, stigma-free transportation option. Access to reliable transportation can be a major barrier in rural areas, and programs like this help ensure people can receive the care and support they need.

We’re grateful for the chance to share our experience and learn alongside other communities working to expand access and strengthen recovery support across rural America.
