🎉 We are proud to announce… 🎉

The Cherokee County Health Services Council has been awarded the 2025 Community Health Champion Award by the Oklahoma Turning Point Council! This honor recognizes our deep commitment to improving health and quality of life in our community through strong partnerships, equity‐centered programs, and sustainable action.

This award is not just for us, it belongs to every staff member, partner organization, community leader, and resident who has made this possible. From behavioral health, maternal & child health, substance misuse prevention, food access, Tribal collaborations, to community voice and equity: every initiative, every hour, every idea contributed to this achievement.

Thank you to everyone who has walked this path with us. We accept this award with gratitude and with renewed determination to continue building a healthier, stronger Cherokee County.

Frontline Mental Health Summit’s Day 1 and day 2 are in the books!
Hope you can join us during one or both of the last two days of the Summit Thursday 9/18 and Friday 9/19.

The Senior 918 volunteers have been volunteering at the event and had the opportunity to attend some sessions today. We also could not let the photo booth areas go to waste!
It’s not too late to attend. On Thursday the focus is on Medical professionals and Friday’s focus is Educators.
