🇺🇸 We had an amazing time representing our academy in the Ellijay Independence Day Parade yesterday! We were honored to receive the “Best Non-Profit Entry” award from Engage in Gilmer - what a surprise and a privilege!

🐎 Our horses and riders truly shined this week, handling everything from busy crowds and festive chaos to actual bears 🐻 crossing between parade floats (yes really 😂) - all the while staying calm, focused, and doing exactly what they’ve been training to do!

After a long week of hard work, we’re all a little tired… but already looking forward to next year’s Stars ⭐️ Stripes and Stirrups camp.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on - we’re so proud of this incredible group! ❤️🤍💙

🏁 Last day this week before the parade!

Campers went on another trail ride and worked on some different horsemanship obstacles like creek crossings and tunnels.

🎉 Then we had an end of the week party and sleep over to celebrate all their accomplishments!

🐎 Day 3 we hit the ground running with a long group arena ride where our campers worked on some new techniques together....

We spent the rest of the day beating the heat on the slip & slide 💦 and making our tye-dye shirts for the Independence Day Parade in Elijay on Friday 🇺🇸!

What an amazing first day at camp! Our campers dove right into the fun - literally! 🏊‍♀️💦 From learning new techniques 🐴 and swimming under the sun to crafting awesome horseshoe wall hangers 🧲🎨, today was packed with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories!
