The StaRN program is a 12-17 week, PAID Nurse Residency Program featuring didactic and clinical training. It allows new graduates to obtain acute care nursing experience through an intensive internship program. At completion of the program, residents will transfer to the hospital for unit orientation and be provided with one on one preceptorship. After completion of preceptorship, residents will remain in the HCA Residency Program for the remainder of their 1st year, gaining additional, valuable training & education. Units that participate in our programs typically include, but are not limited to: Med/Surg, Oncology, Orthopedics, Critical Care (PCU, Stepdown, ICU), Emergency Room, & Behavioral Health. PALS, TNCC & ENPC (for ER residents)
