Today’s home prenatal visit came with a little extra magic 🌱
While we were tending to mama and baby, Rabbit To***co (also known as Rabbit Tea or Life Everlasting) decided to show up and bless the moment. This gentle plant has long been cherished in Southern folk medicine, known for its comforting aroma, its use as a natural respiratory support, and its reputation for bringing peace and protection wherever it grows.

There’s something sacred about how the earth places exactly what we need right in our path. Fertile signs, fertile times.

A hospital transfer should not end your experience with your Midwife. It means every resource should be activated to support the best outcome, and the hospital is where we know higher levels of care are obtained.

I always offer to continue postpartum and newborn care even when a formal transfer takes place, or the occasional birth where the baby comes before I arrive.

Communication after birth is essential. Skipping postpartum care can place families at risk and disrupt the continuity you deserve.

I honor every mother’s foundation of support. I understand my position. I know that the mother’s mother, usually due to her own past experiences, will drown out every repeated utterance of guidance from me during our months our prenatal care.... and when your spiritual community claims they got you and your family, I believe and respect each realm fully.

I'm here to care for families who value partnership, HONESTY, safety, and respect. It's a difficult, yet simple task. When we stay connected, home birth remains safe and empowering.
