FALA staff Alberta Granger, Tammi Wathen and Anna Lopez are continuing their facility visits and staying connected with members and prospective members in the field! 💙

The team stopped by Buissereth, Nancy - Adult Family Care Home (d/b/a Florida Golden Adult Care), where they met with Nancy and had the opportunity to tour the home, connect one on one, and learn more about the incredible care being provided to residents each day. These visits help us strengthen relationships, share resources, and support the dedicated professionals who make a difference across our communities!

FALA staff Alberta Granger, Tammi Wathen, and Anna Lopez visited Excellence Senior Living today for a wonderful site visit and connection with their team. They met with Executive Director Gustavo Loesch and Marketing Director Derrick Waines to learn more about their community, share updates, and strengthen partnerships that support quality care across Florida!

The building itself was beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable and uplifting environment for residents and staff alike. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for all you do each day to serve your residents 💙

FALA staff Alberta Granger, Tammi Wathen, and Anna Lopez had a great visit at Telleria, Ania dba A Place for Mimi Adult Family Care Home, where they met with the Provider Ania Telleria and toured the home. They also had the pleasure of spending time with one of the residents who the home calls The Ambassador, making the visit even more memorable!

Approximately 25% of facilities are cited for failing to meet required in-service training hours or for not having appropriately trained staff for specialized licenses (i.e., extended congregate care or limited mental health license). Be sure that you and your staff's training is up to date!

The Education Committee will review proposals in March to select speakers for the 2026 Conference & Tradeshow. This year there will be a separate form for breakout session speakers versus keynote speakers to avoid confusion. We invite each of you to submit your topic for consideration.
