SeminoleSafe SeminoleSAFE is the social media outreach channel for Florida State University Emergency Management. Uphold the Garnet & Gold!

SeminoleSAFE is a comprehensive education and outreach campaign intended to raise the culture of preparedness, health and safety at Florida State University. The Seminole SAFE brand is shared by a number of university departments and entities which all share a common goal to keep Florida State University a safe and healthy place for our students, faculty, staff and visitors.

•Situational awareness, including weather forecasts, traffic advisories, and other adverse conditions.
•Recognition of various safety-related "holidays" (e.g. Hurricane Awareness Week).
•Hazard education, including instructional material about current hazards (e.g. flood safety).
•Cross-posts of information posted by other emergency related entities. Also, given the interactive nature of social media, users are encouraged to "Like", comment, and share posts on the SeminoleSAFE page. Florida State University welcomes open conversation and thoughtful discussion among visitors of the page. However, the University is not responsible for the comments, contributions, postings and repostings made by visitors to the page. Florida State University reserves the right (but assumes no obligation) to remove comments perceived as racist, sexist, abusive, spam, violent, or anything of an inappropriate or offensive nature.
