Alen F. has returned to Joy of Therapy after interning here in Fall 2024 & 2025. He's now a senior at FSU studying Human Development and Family Sciences with a minor in psychology. He plans to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist, which is why he's back for more!
In his free time, Alen enjoys playing basketball, dressing up in streetwear, and taking Polaroids for his collection. He is the Administrative Secretary of Progressive Black Men Inc., Social & Events Coordinator for FSU'S Black Student Union, and the Social Committee Chair for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

A common question I hear from parents is, “How often should my teen do their scoliosis exercises?” It’s an important consideration for maximizing the benefits of therapy. My recommendation is:

🥉Good= Daily 5 -30 minute home practice and supervised session every 1-3 months
🥈Better= Daily 10-30 minute home practice and supervised session every 1-2 months
🥇Best= Daily 20-30 minute program and supervised sessions 2-3 times/ month

🌷 Meet Sierra S.—our first-ever Marketing Intern!
Sierra is in her Junior year at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Business Marketing with future aspirations to enter the fashion marketing world after graduation.She will be working with us to strengthen and expand our marketing presence this semester.
