IMPACT Preschool was founded to meet your child’s every need through a team-based approach to care. Impact Preschool was founded in 2012.

We provide an environment that strengthens independence, encourages growth at all levels, and bridges the gap between educational and therapeutic services. We utilize a team-based approach to programming and care. Children are immersed in daily adventures of hands-on learning experiences and opportunities that foster each child’s optimum participation and social, emotional, and developmental growth. Preschool is thrilled to be participating in the Celebration of the Hands this year!
Our classrooms got a little messy and used their hands to create artwork to be hung at the Florida State Capitol the week of February 22nd.

Today is National Puzzle Day and we want to celebrate by telling you why therapists love puzzles! Puzzles aren’t just fun—they’re powerful therapy tools! Read below to see why different types of therapists use puzzles when working at IMPACT.

Speech Therapy – Puzzles build language by encouraging kids to name, describe, ask for help, and take turns.

Occupational Therapy – Puzzles strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, focus, and problem-solving.

Physical Therapy – Puzzles motivate movement like reaching, balance, crossing midline, and body control.

ABA Therapy – Puzzle support following directions, turn-taking, problem-solving, attention, and positive reinforcement.

Kids think they’re playing—but they are really working on BIG therapy goals!

REMINDER! IMPACT Academy will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday of this week to move to 1725 Hermitage Blvd for our renovations!

This WILL NOT affect Therapy and Preschool. Times and Sessions for Therapy and Preschool will continue as normal.

The Bradfordville Volunteer Fire and Rescue came to preschool yesterday, as we learn about Community helpers!

The best interaction went like this:
Firefighter: "Does anyone know what this is?" - as he holds up the oxygen tank
Preschooler: "It takes you up to the sky"

Even though we learned the oxygen tank isn’t a jet pack, we still thought it was pretty cool!

Today we got to celebrate being back at school with our annual Back to School BBQ! Our director team cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and brought homemade desserts!

We are so thankful to our staff for all they do and love being able to celebrate them in this way. We hope you all enjoyed lunch today and leftovers for the rest of the week!

One of our favorite things to do at IMPACT is make sure everything is up to our standards, and summer is the perfect time to deep clean and make updates to our buildings!

We are so thankful for our young workers who take the time to make sure our facilities are top notch!
