God's Name is Yahuah or Yahweh or Elohim
Jesus' Name is Yahusha or Yahshua or Yahawashi
The Holy Spirit's Name is Ruach Ha'Kodesh
These are Their Original Hebrew Names
"I am come in my Father's Name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive."
(John 5:43)
Welcome all. Love y'all all. We must, I repeat, we must keep the Sabbath Day. We must return to it. God is not joking about it.
(Exodus 31:12-14)
"And the Lord spake unto Moses saying, 'Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily MY SABBATHS ye shall keep: For it is a sign between Me and you THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS. That ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you. Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore, for it is Holy unto you: everyone that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people."'
Welcome all and thank you for joining us again. May Yahuah God just bless you all over.
Well, Let's Eat:
I was presiding over a funeral for a dear friend of mine and while standing in the parlor the thought hit me and I said it. Not meaning to say it out loud, but God must have meant me to say it out loud. What ever happened to the Resurrection? How has the Resurrection been deleted from the Bible? Well, there's so much confusion because people die and preachers at funerals talk the lie of people going straight to Heaven. But that's not what the Bible says.
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) If you will allow the Bible to speak you'll know exactly what happens when a person dies. The wise man Solomon says once again.
(Ecclesiastes 9:10)
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; (and here is why) for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."
Now wait a minute. Where did he say you are going? In the grave. What's not there? There's no device. You're not taking your cell phone. There's no knowledge, there's no wisdom. Nobody's going to be talking to you there. There's no device, there's no knowledge, there's no wisdom, in the grave.
Watch the direction where you are going. If you go to a nearby cemetery, all the stones that you see with names on them, that body is right and their spirit is no place else. There's no soul in Heaven saying, "Well, I can't wait to come down and get back in that body. (and we'll deal with that ideology in a moment)
You see the lie of death is believed because the Truth of life is ignored. When you understand how humanity was created then you will understand what we are made of, what we are made of and how we were created then you will more clearly understand what happens when we die. Here's what the Bible says.
(Genesis 2:7)
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life; and man became a living soul."
Let's put this together. The Lord formed dust, He formed the dust, put all the organs together and this amazing machine that the Lord created, all the muscles and bones and veins, and heart and lungs and kidneys and God leaned over and "Whooish" the Breath of Life. He breathed into man's nostrils the Breath of Life and the man came alive.
That's what happens when you plug your shaver or television in and you flip the switch and your shaver or television comes alive. Does your shaver or television have electricity in it? No! If you turn that off you ask yourself where did the electricity go? It went back to the source, the power plant that's maybe located a mile or so from your house. That's where it's stored. In the very same way Yahusha is the Source of all life. In Him was and is Life and that Life is the Light of men. He is the Source of all living beings. He created all things and in Him all things exist. In Him we live and move and have our being. Man became a living being. He's the Source of our life. There's no electricity hanging around in your razor or television waiting for you to flip the switch. Nothing in it is alive. It needs that outside source to bring it to life.
Where there is no life in Adam then there is death until God breathed into Adam's nostrils Adam was nothing but a beautiful designed pile of dust. Then God breathed into him.
Now here's one of the Scriptures that people often try to use to give support to the "big lie." But when we read the Bible we allow Scripture to unite with Scripture to make the picture abundantly clear. (Ecclesiastes 12:7) and I'm going to read from the King James Version because this is the Translation that's been around longer and people often use This because it sounds ethereal and they think that "Ah, I got my proof to prove that something went to Heaven. Here's the Verse (speaking about death).
(Ecclesiastes 12:7)
"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it."
Please highlight that. "The spirit returns to God Who gave it." First question: When did God give it and what is it that God gave? Notice it didn't say a soul that God gave.
Let's go back and examine the record of Creation. Adam was not existing in Heaven before he was created on earth. So if something is returning to God and you thought it was a living soul, then it's going back to where it came from because the word 'return' simply means go back to where to where it came from.
If I'm visiting Africa and I come back to America I'm returning home. If I lived in Africa and visited America and returned to Africa then I would be returning home to where I came from.
So when the Bible says, "Returning to God Who gave it." Notice what it says, "The Spirit returns to God." It doesn't say the spirit returns to Heaven. I says it returns to God.
We say it doesn't return to God it returns to Heaven, So we teach that somehow there are people all over Heaven. But the Bible says it returns to God. See, that's because God is the Source of all life.
The very Breath of Life that came from Him goes back to Him. It's not a person. It is the Breath of Life. Well, how do I know that? Well, Let the Bible Speak for Itself. What is that spirit that goes back to God not to Heaven? Here it is (Job 27:3) Job says,
(Job 27:3)
"All the while my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils."
I'll repeat the last part. "And the Spirit of God is in my nostrils." What is that Job is saying? "All the while my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils."
Well, Job, how did it get there? Because God breathed into Adam's nostrils the Breath of Life and as long as I'm living and all the while my Breath is in me and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils. That seems to be clear. But the big wall, the"big lie" that people have to get by is all these things that have been sewn in their brains from childhood, from denominations, from churches, from pulpits, from movies, and from music. This constant massaging of a lie almost makes it appear to be Truth but it's still a lie.
The first question that the Lord made very clear to Adam when Adam died after sin He said, "Adam, after you have lived your days because of sin this is what's going to happen to you, because of transgression."
Now watch this. If we had no other Passage in the Bible we can believe the very first thing that God said to Adam what happened to him because of transgression. Look at
(Genesis 3:19)
"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."
Where is Adam going? Return to the ground. Why would you go there? The Lord made it clear Himself. "For out of it you were taken, for dust you are and to dust you shall return."
Now that Passage reveals two undeniable facts about humanity. First of all it brought up the destiny of all humanity when they die. At death humanity's destiny and humanity's origin are the same. When we die our destiny equals our origin. In other words we go back to where we came from. Back to the ground for out of it you were taken and back to it we shall go.
(is that clear)
See. When we were created we came from the ground and we were brought to life by the Breath of God. When we die we go back to the ground. That's called decomposing. That's why earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. From dust you are, to dust you shall return. The destiny, the ground. The context or what the material is going to be, dust. Ground and dust.
Where did we come from? The Lord God Yahuah formed man from the dust of the ground. We go back to what we came from and where we came from. (is that clear)?
God never said at the time of death we'd go straight to Heaven.
There is this deep inserting ideology that somehow that the Spirit is ethereal or extremely delicate and seems too perfect for this world. Let me just tell you where that came from for those of you who are struggling with the phrase spirit because the Word 'spirit' simply means the Breath of Life. Let the Bible speak
(Job 27:3)
"All the while my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils."
That's the way he put it. That's not some separate entity. The word 'spirit' does not mean Holy Spirit. It does not mean a separate person. It simply means the breath that keeps me alive that gave humanity life is what is in my nostrils. Once that ceases we die. And if you want to know where the spirit goes the Bible made it very clear in
(Ecclesiastes 12:7)
"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it."
Now what is that? Let me use a demonstration. When you have a light bulb that's lit and you turn that light bulb off where does the light go? Nowhere, because the combination of the filament creates that light. When one is absent both don't exist. The Breath of Life and the body of humanity, when they are combined we become a living being but when they are separated neither of them are alive. (is that clear)?
So there is no living spirit over here saying, "Where do I go now? Where do I go now?" When the Bible says the spirit returns to God Who gave it. It simply means the Breath of Life that belongs to God stays with God. Not a separate person, not a separate entity, not your mother or your cousin. They're not going off saying, "We'll meet you when you get here." You can't find a single Scripture in the Bible that will support that. If you find it, let me see it. It's not in the Bible anywhere. In fact, let me go farther. We find in (Ecclesiastes 3:20) The wise man said it this way.
(Ecclesiastes 3:20)
"All go into one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again."
Now, let me give you something else. I'm going to go to (Ecclesiastes 3:20) and I'm going to read first from (Ecclesiastes 3:21). I will read that Passage for you and I want to show you the difference between a dog and a human being. Let's look at (V-21)
(Ecclesiastes 3:21)
"Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth."
You might look at that and go, "There it is." What did the Lord do when creating animals? He spake and it was done. He commanded and it (what) stood fast. He called animals into existence. But when it came to the creation of humanity, humanity was made in the Image of God. (is that clear)?
"Let Us make man in Our Image according to Our Likeness." So the breath that is inserted into humanity, God didn't breathe into the nostrils of animals. He simply called them into existence. So the breath God put into Adam returns to God at the time of death. Not a separate entity. People are getting, Look up this teaching "neoplatonism." We shall do a study and Message on that soon. because this is the source of that "lie" that people have something that continues to survive after death. It's called 'neoplatonism' This goes all the way back to Platonism. It goes all the way back to Plato, but it goes farther back to Greek mythology. Because by the time that Yahusha walked the earth this belief had already inflicted the minds of the religious leaders of that day. That is the reason that Yahusha stayed away for four days when Lazarus was dead. Why would He stay away for four days and not two? Because neoplatonistic views taught that when a person died the spirit or the soul tried for three days to get back into the body. Like hitting on a glass door, like a mosquito trying to get into your house. And if it succeeded that person came back to life. So to defeat that belief Yahusha stayed away for (how many days) four days. Now we look at that as almost Yahusha being insensitive. But Yahusha is not being insensitive. He wanted to crush that belief. It so impermeated the Jewish leaders of that day that that was the turning point and the way they dealt with Yahusha. When He brought Lazarus back to life after four days. Here's What He said, "I Am the Resurrection and the Life."
And you read that story and they said from that moment on the Jews decided that He must die. That was the pivotal point that turned them completely sour when He destroyed their belief in the after life. "He's got to go." That was the belief that broke them. Up to that point they didn't think that Yahusha had any power. That was the first time He used His Divinity to defeat the lie of the devil. He healed, yes. He raised the dead, yes. But when He brought back Lazarus they were all watching to see what He was going to do and He said to them, "I Am the Resurrection and the Life ."
That powerful Truth neutralized the lie that humanity has something that's natural in them that returns to God when they die. But look at this. Let's let the Bible speak. (Psalm 115:17) The Bible makes it clear that there is no change in destiny. He said to Adam that you are going to go back to earth. The Bible makes it clear that no time does destiny change. David the Psalmist wrote these words.
(Psalm 115:17)
"The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence."
Get this, not up into praise but down into silence. Not up into praise but down into silence. I want to say that again because this lie was repeated over and over. "They're in Heaven praising God." That is a "big lie." They're in the grave silent.
When you study the Bible and do your homework, you'll understand this. Please do your homework. Study the Bible.
