Galium aparine

Parts Used: Aerial parts, best used fresh

Actions: Lymphatic tonic, alterative, anti-inflammatory, astringent, diuretic, detoxifier, light laxative Contains Vitamin C, rich in chlorophyll, and minerals silica and magnesium.

Indications: Gentle but powerful lymphatic system mover, Cleavers are cooling herbs used to reduce swelling in glands, detoxify and assist the body in riding waste, aids skin conditions that occur due to poor elimination such as boils, eczema, and acne, assists with cooling internal temperature and inflammation, supports irritated urinary tract, retention of water or mild infections. Traditional uses also include seasonal use when feeling bloated, run-down, or sluggish.

*Cleavers are considered a w**d. Can be found in yards, climbing on fences and hedges. It’s the green plant that sticks to your socks or pants when you walk past them

Best used fresh, juiced, tinctured, or fresh in a infusion.

Contraindications: Generally considered safe. Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals taking diuretic medications.

Lab Result based consultations have proven much easier in approaching clinical consultations and questions. If you would like help in deciphering/decoding your lab results, assistance with creating a list of questions/topics/concerns to discuss with your health care provider, or would just simply like to understand what the heck it all means, I can help.

Always ask for a copy of the your visit report. Most people have a MyChart, if you don’t, be sure to ask for printed copies of lab results and visit report for that day (they are your records, you have a right to them).

I will provide this service free to individuals 70 and older. I said 65 in the video, but we gonna go with 70 😊

Lab results, medication list, and consultation form required.

I will make this forever if it continues to give my youngest clients the confidence to face the world.

There is another aspect of eczema that’s not often talked about by the youngest of sufferers. That is that children can be mean to one another. When a child suffers from eczema from head to toe, they often shrink away from the world, try to hide in the background, trying not to be seen.

Steroids are a whole other conversation, but to put it briefly, the skin can become addicted to the steroids causing you to need higher and higher doses until it just doesn’t work anymore. Stopping use can cause a hyper over reaction making the condition triple times worse.

Eczema is an internal reaction that pops out on your skin. To address eczema properly, start with an allergy test for environmental and food allergies.

Breaks outs can be calmed with oatmeal baths. Regular oats in the store will do. Use a mild clean soap, such as our Nothing But Bars and a moisturizer that not only moisturizes, but heals. Thats what our butter offers.

As long as I can bring relief, smiles, and healing to the youngest of my clients, I’ll keep pushing.

Bout to burn baby burn 🔥 I had to go with a smaller version than I wanted because I don’t have a 240v electrical socket in the kitchen…yet.

I’ll be testing this bat out tomorrow in the kitchen. Hopefully have a menu ready by Monday and a free food tasting Saturday. Stay tuned 😁

Growing up in the country (Quincy, Gadsden County, Florida) gave me a wonderful basis and background in natural foods and herbal remedies (mostly folk medicine). As I got older, I got away from what I grew up knowing all so well. After developing various skin sensitivities to chemicals in my hair and body products, I knew it was time to get back to my natural roots. Educating myself about various butters, herbs, and essential oils became my new passion and Knotz & Mane was born. My first product being our Shea Hair Butter.

After self studying, I found myself wanting to learn more in order to further improve upon my existing products and to create new products. This is when I decided to start my studies to become a Certified Master Herbalist. My goal is to replace all of the chemical laced products we use on our bodies with all natural, chemical free products.

Our products are created in small batches with All natural, chemical, paraben, and sulfate free ingredients. None of our products contain preservatives. All of our ingredients are of the highest quality and sourced from ethically conscience companies and manufacturers. We produce products where ever ingredient is purposeful, the purpose of healing.
