✨💙 Our team continues to get BRYTER! Help us welcome Kendall O’Kelley, who has been part of the Bryter Way ABA family since October! 💙✨

Kendall has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 3 years and knew early on that this was the field for her after working with her very first client. She attended Georgia College & State University and currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband and their three dogs.

In her free time, Kendall enjoys hiking, kayaking, spending time with family, and riding horses. Professionally, she is deeply passionate about supporting her kiddos and their families and takes pride in building meaningful relationships that help create lasting change.

Kendall shares, “I love ABA because I truly enjoy each and every kiddo I work with. My goal has always been and always will be to make a difference in my kiddos’ and their families’ lives. I have a passion for helping others, and this field is a great way to express that passion.”

we know transitions can be challenging. Whether it’s a new routine, a new school, a new classroom, or new peers, our team is here to help make the shift a smooth one for you and your child.

Here are some helpful back to school transition tips:

🎒 Preview the Routine
Start practicing the school day schedule early. Wake up times, meals, and bedtime. Consistency builds comfort.

📅 Use Visual Schedules
Visuals can help your child understand what’s coming next and reduce anxiety about changes.

🗣 Talk it Out
Use simple language and social stories to discuss what school will be like. Especially if it’s a new school, classroom, or teacher.

👟 Build Independence with Morning Tasks
Let your child practice getting dressed, putting on shoes, or packing a lunch to ease the morning rush and encourage confidence.

📚 Pair School Items with Positivity
Let your child explore their new backpack, lunchbox, or school shoes while engaging in a preferred activity to build positive associations.

✨💙Our team just keeps getting BRYTER! Welcome Angelique to Bryter Way!💙✨

Angelique began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) right here in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2020, she moved to Saint Petersburg, where she continued working as an RBT while completing her master’s degree in ABA from the University of West Florida.

In February 2024, she became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), and shortly after, in April 2025, she officially became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Angelique says, “Now that I’ve moved back to Tallahassee, I’m incredibly excited for this new chapter with Bryter Way ABA. I’m passionate about helping children develop meaningful life skills, supporting their independence, and empowering families through collaborative, individualized care tailored to each client’s unique needs. My approach focuses on promoting lasting, meaningful growth — both in the children I work with and in the relationships I build with their support systems. I’m so grateful to be part of the Bryter Way team and can’t wait to connect, grow, and make a difference together!”

Outside of work, Angelique enjoys watching WNBA basketball, spending time with her two dogs, Mowgli and Baloo, drawing and painting, binge-watching a good TV series, and playing basketball!
