We at Tallahassee Counseling Center strive to offer our clients the best service possible. We offer a wide range of clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families seeking support and psychotherapy. We understand that people calling our office are reaching out in a time in need. We seek to assist clients in dealing with life’s challenges and distress with dignity. Our goal is to help you through your journey to healing and to have each client feel safe and supported throughout their therapy. The 4th Tuesday of every month therapists Chrissy Miller, LCSW and Rosie Harkness, LCSW will be hosting group therapy for LGBTQ+ youth! All LGBTQ+ middle and high schoolers are welcome to attend. These are free group sessions that are paid for by Tallahassee PFLAG. The group session will be held at our location (2888-4 Mahan Dr). Sign up is required. Please call our office to sign up (850-385-9046). We hope to see you there!

Our Safety Precautions in Effect During Pandemic


Our office is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

• My staff maintains safe distancing.
• Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.
• Hand sanitizers that contain at least 60% alcohol are available in the waiting room
• We schedule appointments at intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
• We ask all patients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times.
• Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
• Physical contact is not permitted.
• Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
• Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

COVID-19 Update: Our office will remain open. We are expanding our waiting room area to have chairs outside to further accommodate our clients. There is always less than 20 people at one time in our office. We are consistently sanitizing commonly touched surfaces. Added bonus, we have have toilet paper!

We know times like these can increase anxiety symptoms and you may need us now more than ever. Call our office with any further questions and stay safe!
