Happy Valentine’s Day!

This February, as we celebrate love, we also recognize American Heart Month a reminder that caring for our hearts is one of the greatest acts of love.

Community Health Workers show love every day by helping neighbors manage blood pressure, navigate care, access healthy foods, and build heart-healthy habits. Through education, support, and trusted relationships, CHWs strengthen both individual hearts and the heart of our communities.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s commit to loving our hearts, supporting one another, and advancing a healthier future together.

February is American Heart Month!

This month, CHWs are raising awareness about heart health and encouraging everyone to take steps toward a healthier heart.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., but many risk factors can be managed with healthy habits.

✔️ Eat heart-healthy foods
✔️ Stay active
✔️ Manage stress
✔️ Know your numbers (BP, cholesterol, glucose)
✔️ Schedule regular check-ups

Small changes today can make a big difference tomorrow. Let’s work together to protect our hearts and the hearts of those we love!
