Florida State University and the City of Tallahassee, FL on Friday completed the legal transfer of city-owned hospital assets, marking a historic milestone for FSU Health, the universityโ€™s academic health system.

FSU research suggests that increasing folic acid in your diet has the potential to reduce nerve damage commonly linked to type 2 diabetes.

While still in early stages, this work highlights the potential role nutrition can play in managing medical conditions โ€” a promising direction for lifestyle medicine.

Whatโ€™s the next step? The Institute for Connecting Nutrition and Health (ICON-Health) will conduct clinical trials in Tallahassee in hopes of validating these findings to change future standards of care.
