Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. There are no words to explain how thankful I am to still be here and experience this life. It's important to share our stories and help break the stigma surrounding mental illness and su***de.

We are continuing to navigate unprecedented times and the impact this is all having on mental health is terrifying. Su***de rates are up 33 percent since 1999. For every person who dies by su***de annually, there are another 280 people who have thought seriously about su***de.

I promise there are things worth living for. You make today better. This world needs you and I hope you know that you are worthy of love.
